Oshawa Airport Golf Club
About
Oshawa Airport Golf Club is situated in a scenic valley, running alongside a gentle stream. Sprinkled within the executive layout are some of the toughest par 3s in all of Ontario but they are nicely balanced by more player-friendly par 4s. Throughout the course you will find plenty of challenging hazards. Two large ponds come into play and there is a meandering creek that runs across three holes. The fairways are wide open and the undulating greens tend to be fast. You'll also find strategically placed bunkers along some of the greens. Although the greens have some tricky slopes, the golf course is mostly flat and easy to walk. Oshawa Airport Golf Club finishes with its signature hole, a 175-yard par 3 that requires a carry over water in order to reach the green.

Great value
Nice course with some challenging holes. The fairways, rough and greens are in great shape.
Under-rated and tougher than expected
Very friendly staff. The Saturday morning starter is a classic gem - such a nice guy - down to earth. Pro Shop staff very helpful and a good chat!
Very well maintained for this price point.
Much tougher than the yardages suggest. Tight fairways (but often you can rescue yourself from parallel fairways - thinking 4, 12, 13, 14), lots of carries (3 and 15 are 150+ and straight down and back up over a creek with forest or OB on either side), or sand. Greens are smaller than most and good elevation changes.
Though it is hilly in parts it is still very walkable (IMHO - on different occasions I walked 27 and 36 holes in 1 day - with each 18 right after the other)
Air traffic is interesting and very easy to block out after a hole or 2.
Incredibly slow pace of play. 3 group wait on 13/18 holes. Layout isn’t the best, balls from other holes constantly flying onto your fairway. In okay shape for a dog track and obviously you get what you pay for as it wasn’t terribly expensive. Would still not recommend it. Plenty of other better courses to play at.
The fairways were very rough, the greens were pretty good
Grounds in Disarray
I don’t want to be attacked. But I have to say something about Oshawa Airpot Golf this was the worst course I have ever played at. I tee boxes had NO flat spot or under construction and was really dry. Then all of the grass was BROWN and just straight dust and hay. The ground was so hard it scratched one of our irons. You could not take a divet at all. And the CIGARETTE BUDS EVERYWHERE!! I couldn’t stress how horrible this course was. There is one cool hole where you play a valley … but the reds are tucked around the corner. HOW DOES IT MAKE SENSE!!! The greens were the only green portion but they need to be mowed. Way too long. I don’t know what to say. I wanted my money back after the third hole. I tried to give it a chance. But HORRIBLE!!
But the Marshal was a sweet man and helped guide us and was nice I will give that to him.
But my final frustration… I went with a high collar tank top that is appropriate at most courses. The lady said I had to have a collared shirt. But I saw 3 men with old tshirts…. I’m just saying.
DO NOT GO TO OSHAWA AIRPORT GOLF COURSE. HORRIBLE. WASTE OF MONEY
Great greens
Loved the soft greens. Fairways were above average. Tee box’s need to be levelled. Short course plays very fast. Great staff!
