Winchester Golf Club is a short and sweet 5,200 yards from the tips. Those looking for length will have to go elsewhere, but if you want a quick round, this course can be played in less than four hours. The course is situated among Brooklin's gently rolling hills, which are covered by forests that are part of the Oak Ridges Moraine. The player-friendly layout is ideal for beginners. It is also a great place for kids to learn how to play. The golf course is not difficult by any means but it provides good practice. There are a few challenges spread throughout, including a fair number of bunkers bordering the greensides. Its forgiving nature and risk-reward opportunities make it a great place for golf tournaments as well.

Some good, tricky holes
Been years since last played but like the "trickiness" of the holes
Course conditions good but needs much better direction signage to find how to reach many of the holes
Cart paths need work including entryway

Some unique hole layouts.
Tee boxes were in rough shape and greens were slow. Staff was very friendly and efficient. Had a great time with family and friends.
Not long but a tough course
First time playing this course. Not a long course, but quite tough to play as many fairways are narrow and winding. Several holes have to walk back and created some danger of being hit. Fairways n greens are in good condition but the car paths are in pretty bad shape, and the entrance driveway really needs repair. Check in was quite n easy with very friendly staff. Overall a good course to enjoy particularly the scenery.
Great Golf Day
Played today with a couple fellow mad golfers. Course was in great shape except the fifteen green which needs extra work as it in shade most of the time. Excellent day
Horrible
Horrible course layout, way over booked, slowest golf game I’ve ever played, course wasn’t very well kept, one of the marshals who was playing the course almost hit my buddy and I twice from him shooting into us while on the course, he then joined our time slot and was arrogant to us after finally leaving to get ready for work. Waste of my money and was the worst golf experience of my life.
Layout was ridiculous constantly backtracking
Course was packed due to perfect autumn weather and the grounds crew chose to aerate greens as people played!!
Management should have postponed aeration until later in the week when poor weather was forecast
