Very enjoyable
Play was a little slow today. .could use a range out on the course. The greens were surprisingly fast.
cool golfday
Buddy and I were teamed up with 2 brothers,one practically a scratch golfer.We both had poor games in the cool Low 60F weather.Fortunately we didn't slow the game up except for a cart puncture on 6th hole,others played thru while I waited.Demanding course ,water on 8 holes and quite wooded,bring your best and straightest game folk..Nice clubhouse,8 beers on tap and great fries.From non handicap golfers thru top players you will enjoy this fine course.

Great course
It gives you lots of challenges but still fair to the average golfer

Surprisingly Tougher Than Usual
Played here with the 4th tee time Sunday morning, prior to the Men's League tourney. The course was in fantastic shape! Pins were in pretty tricky positions on very fast greens. Lots of fun and challenge today! Food and drink is always good here, after the round. Great deal for the round for our group from Cambridge.

Front 9 was very slow, several wait times. Back 9 play pace picked up

Another great round of golf at Pineknot. Pace of play was excellent, 3 hours 30 minutes. Even with all the rain lately course played dry

Sunday Drive
Fun course to play with a number of risk/reward holes.. Course is well laid out making it both interesting and challenging. On a number of par four and five holes a well placed drive from the tee will reward you with an open second shot.

Pine Knot Review
Greens in great shape and staff were friendly. Power carts are getting long in the tooth. Had dinner after the round. Food and service were good.

Hidden gem
This course was awesome and in great shape. I had the most fun round of golf I have ever played here. Every round you play here gets better and better.

Bad experience
I have played this course a couple times now and on both occasions had issues with customer service.
The first time we played it started raining while teeing off on the 9th hole so we finished off and went to the club house. When it cleared up we asked an older gentlemen with a mustache who worked at the facility how we get to the 10th hole as we hurried inside. The gentlemen rudely said are we allowed on this golf course...then asked how we missed the 10th hole.
On the second time we were at the course we were on the 8th hole and the same gentlemen parked between the 8th and 9th hole and watched us the hole time. He had an issue where we parked our carts. We were slightly off the cart path but no where near the greens and he came and told us it is universal in every golf club that par 3's golf carts stays on the cart path. I have played around 100 rounds and no one has ever said anything except no carts on the green. He then continued to stare at us whilen tee'd off on the 9th hole.
Other than this we had a good time. Course in great condition. Course had a few spots there were beinf actively cared for and watered.
First off thank you for choosing Pine Knot. I apologize to hear that you had anything less than a fantastic experience. We do have a few overly passionate employees who care so much about our club and how people treat it, however, this person may have overstepped a little and I will do my best to inform staff on how to properly communicate to customers on etiquette. We do ask people to stay on cart paths wherever provided as much as possible and at the very least keep your cart at least 20 yards away from any green or tee if no path is available. This just ensures that the turf does not wear out and thin especially around greens where people would like to have some grass under their ball for chipping. In the future if you have any problems please ask for the General Manager and I will gladly tend to the situation. Thank you again for choosing Pine Knot and we hope to see you again in the future.

A great course for the value.
This was a great course for the value, with exceptional staff in keeping the pace of play within a 4 hour game. The staff in the lounge were also efficient and friendly.

Hello, Thank you for playing we do keep an eye on pace, however everyone has a different golfers skill set. We do have one of London's Best Driving Ranges on the property next to our 10th hole complete with a short game hole. Make sure to allow yourself enough time before your tee time to get over there and take some swings, we allow you to use a cart to get over to it. Look forward to seeing you again
