Great deal
Found super deal last minute. Very nice course in super shape. Will definitely play again.
Pace of play
Although there were few players play was very slow due to inexperienced golfers or those who lack etiqette. This happens everywhere though but I still enjoyed my day out. Great course and great staff and owner. Cannot wait to play it again.
Harbourview
The day was sunny but cold. Course was in decent shape, back 9 was wet. We were practising for a round in the next 2 weeks so conditions were just what we needed. Always a fun play.
Good Fall Golf
Good to Great golf for Nov 4th. Course conditions were good. Green are holding up very well. Leaves are all blown over to the edges or completely off into the trees. Bunkers need a little TLC to remove some rocks, but just pull it out to be safe.
Pace of play was a little slow only due to a series of 4-somes and I was playing paired up to make a double. Heads up folks, if you don't track a handicap, say away from the tips. Blue tees are not for big boys, they are for golfers that can hit the ball a distance.
Harbour View continues to be a great course to hop out of your car and start playing. I have not been beyond the check in area.
I had fun and will be back.
Fine, established course
Good layout. Conditions good and fairly consistent throughout. Lovely casual course with many fine challenges.
Hidden Gem!!!

You get what you pay for
Very reasonable price but not a top level experience. Carts were full of dirty orange peels and garbage. Pace of play was not monitored at all and was VERY slow. Apparently there were a couple of tournaments going on - might not have been a great idea to sell extra tee-off times at the same time because course was hopelessly backed up. Waited 10-15 minutes on most holes. Not helped by cart girl, who was friendly enough but stopped in middle of fairway to chat with people in front - for quite a while. Greens, fairways and tees all in decent shape, so great potential for a positive experience in future.
Hidden Mature Gem
I have played this course a few times each year and is turning out to be one of my favourites. The tee boxes are in good , shape , fairways green and cut and the putting surfaces around the pins are in great condition. The amount of rain we have had this year has helped .Each hole has its own Characteristics and plays differently each time. I have taken several friends there and they all want to come back and play this course. Gilford is a little out of the way but well worth the drive. Yes I recommend this course highly.
