Hidden Gem
An century old course hidden on the edge of town, one gets the feeling of old time friendliness. The course is well maintained. The staff is friendly and courteous.

Golf Guelph with friends
We introduced our friends to Guelph CC on June 2, 2022 and they loved it. We took carts as they have mobility issues and the carts were spotless! We saw a couple of foxes on the course. Nice to see wildlife. The greens were immaculate and the fairways were lush and recently cut. No one was in front of us or close behind and play was relaxed and enjoyable. Sandwiches at Jessie’s on the Green before we played were delicious as usual. Staff are always friendly. A very enjoyable round of golf.

9 Hole Course
Nowhere on Golf Now did it indicate that this was a 9 hole course that you played twice to get your 18 in. It was, however, a lovely course. Rolling hills and trees and flowers are abundant. They did the best they could with only 9 holes by changing the tee off locations on each hole to provide a different view of the hole. After 9 holes though, we ran into 3 foursomes of ladies teeing off on the first hole. This turned a nice round into a very slow game. We went into the restaurant and paid $19.00 for two hamburgers and one order of fries, which I felt was high.
Great track
Guelph country club is a great 9 hole course. Course has 4 ( 2 back tees &2 forward tees) tee boxes so if you play it twice it slightly changes the layout of the second 9. Offers good value for money and the layout is great imo. Not a crazy tough course but you need to be accurate as there are homes along some holes and danger OB on others. 2 par 5s and 2 par 3's ( back to back ). 5's are long but maybe reachable for some players in 2. Par 3's are gettable but greens are small. The par 4's are hilly and pretty tough but fun with birdie opportunities. Course is over a 100 years old with mature trees. Good pace of play with accommodating staff course. Well matained course with thick plush rough and nice fairways. Greens are undulating and requires a good read or 3 putts will definitely happen on some holes ( get on the top teir of the green on hole 9. If you haven't played Guelph country club before I suggest you give it a try!
Course Challenging
A great , very mature & challenging course that some may ignore because it’s only 9 holes. Play One round & you will want many more. Yes the only real downfall is there a few holes where houses may come into play if ball is sprayed.
