Great Course
Great course and great value. Could not have had a better time!
Slow pace
We were 4 1/2 hours for a round which is not terrible but. The problem is, we waited on every T box even though the teetimes are 10 minutes apart. The problem I see is that the mostly par fours are so short that everybody had to wait to hit every shot. Also a lot of golfers hit errant shots because the fairways are pretty narrow. I really do have mixed feelings because the course is in beautiful condition. We did plan on a Sunday so maybe I’ll try next time mid week to see if that makes a difference.
Now my favourite course!
One word....WOW !!! Staff, condition of course, pace of play and members. All first rate. Such a great experience that I'll be looking at a membership for next year.

Walkable, challenges you to play well and get your distances right. Excellent value for the money.
A great day of golf at Wildwinds
Great course, nice layout & very well kept. Been a couple years since I last played it, & thoroughly enjoyed it.
Fairways could use some better maintenance -alot of patches and cuts left long , greens were in decent shape but for a course going up in price doesn't seem much has changed. Power cart battery kept dieing then restarting would go completely dead stop for a few minutes then start again randomly. Roller hot dogs at the turn were bone cold, seems like not much food was out for a hot Sunday round.
