Good value
In good shape greens are running true no fast yet but still brake away from the escarpment
The Beddoe course at Chedoke is a better track of the two 18 hole courses at Chedoke. (The other course being the Martin), I grew up in the area and played there often in my youth. The Beddoe has more interesting holes and some tough par 4’s. We played twilight (after 4pm) and the price was right ( approximately $42 walking). I was surprised it wasn’t that busy and we easily finished 18. Given all the rain we had the course was in decent shape. It doesn’t have Ohio sand or the best tee off boxes, but it’s a decent civic golf course that’s affordable to play .
Very pricey for course condition
Walking rate of $71 was pricey for the course conditions. Grass was not trimmed due to rain.
Course was quite nice to play on, T-Blocks, fairways and greens were in good condition. Difficult finding the next tee on quite a few holes. barkers directing to the next hole would be very helpful. Definitely will play again
Public Golf in the Hammer
Beddoe could be something special
It has a great layout.
Tee boxes are awful
Public golf. Good value
Good place to grab a round
Have always liked the Beddoe, challenging course with some nice views of the city (Yea, it looks better from a distance). Wind played havoc with a lot of shots and finding your ball in the leaves was a challenge, even with a leaf vacuum truck on the course.
Greens need help
Overall course layout is good.
Conditions of the course and greens have always been terrible. It’s a city run course and seems like nobody cares.
But the greens today were in terrible conditions.
“Lines” or roll marks on every green.
Terrible.
But to charge full price for a course that’s not playing up to par is ridiculous!
Do better Chedoke!
Good day
Had a great day on the course greens were cross cut but still running fast . good deal ,
