Good day
Good value greens a little rough but not bad rest of course in good nice views on some holes Beddoe is nicer than Martin
This couse you have to use couse mangement
No marshals on the course, only are the first hole. Foursome in front were very slow and had the course backed up. There were no one in front on them for 3 holes. We were a foursome and they let 2 twosomes tee off behind us. Waiting on every hole.
Will not go back.
This course is well maintained.
I enjoyed playing this course, some very challenging holes. I would recommend this course to any one with an 12 handy cap or more.
Layout is great, scenery spendid as well as beautiful wildlife/deer .
This course with better grooming is a gem ! Very difficult finishing holes . There were wet areas on the course in the shade that would be better off left uncut rather than tearing up the side of the green and tee blocks .. more signs pointing carts to next tee would help detour inexperienced carters away from wet areas .. and maybe some ropes and signs to keep carts clear would also benefit the course . Otherwise it was a great deal and day of golf !
not overly long but all clubs come into play
Greens were in great shape and no easy putts.
Great sand to play out of in the bunkers ( unfortunately ! )
Couse has some very good holes.
Course was in good shape for this time of year, greens were fast with lots of break to them. Some very challenging tee shots required to go at the green on your second shot on par 4's and 5's.However if you can make the shot you will be rewarded, good course for low and mid handicappers with some short but challenging par 5's.
very nice layout
Busy course, Marshall was noticeable to move play.Everything was in good shape.
Beautiful course
Beautiful course! But, the Numbers of each holes, are not big or dark enough to see on the granite markers from a distance. Signage for direction to each hole was scarce. Got lost a few times.
Good Hot Deal value
I played this for $23 all-in, and would do it again. However, I will note that the fairways were so uncut that when I got on the first tee I couldn't distinguish with my eye where the fairway ended and where the rough began. I was playing with a local Hamilton member and he told me it hadn't been cut in about a week, but it seemed as I was playing my round they were doing the job as the back 9 became a lot better.
Bit of a bumpy ride, but this course seems very walk-able and if somebody local snags a cheap walking rate they shouldn't hesitate to play. Not sure it's worth the drive from Toronto, though, considering all the other good deals out there.
Beddoe course a great layout!
This a is a good challenging layout which will keep you thinking.
Many mature trees make it a thinking and positional course. The course is in good shape but wish the city would spend more and make it great.
great course for the money.
While the course wasn't overly difficult or long it was fun to play. Not overly crowded so didn't feel pushed or frustrated waiting on every shot. Course was in good shape with excellent sand in the bunkers...better than most high end courses. Will definitely be playing again.
Nice course. Cleaned up very well after the storm hit about a month ago
Nice course. Cleaned up very well after the storm hit about a month ago. My only complaint was it was difficult to find the tee markers. A few holes had us guessing where the next hole was.
this is a great course
I love this course it has so many good qualities to it, for an affordable price.its well maintained, and a good thinking golfer's course
this course has lots of trees.
a good challenge for blue tips at 6000 yards. Beautiful scenery.
If you are a 12 handicap or less try Kings Forest in Hamilton and at
7000+ yds it is a real challenge.
great place to play for a city course
well worth the money when booking through Gofnow.
a must play in you're in the area.
Enjoyable Round
First time playing the Beddoe course at Chedoke, with a hot deal from GolfNow. We're glad we tried it out. The course is in a beautiful spot on the escarpment. The holes provided a good challenge, while giving a fair chance at a good score if you could hit the fairways. The course is fairly open, so even poor shots off the tee could be found.
The only complaint we would have is that the course is a bumpy ride on the carts. :)
We're glad we tried it out, and will definitely go back.
Great day at Chedoke.
Have played this course many times. Its has great views of the city. Had seen wild life on the course every time I have played. (Deer, Coyotes). Played my last round through golf now and at $30 each with a cart included,I don't think you can find a better deal. Chedoke has 2 courses and both are nice and challenging but the Beddoe is my favorite.
the course is well maintained
the course was well maintained and easy to difficult ...good deal from golfnow..... great muni..
Good golf course for the value.
Plan to play again anytime and bring friends & family!
July 11, 2013, I went back & brought my friend Miste Cruz and I had Hole In One in #8 hole (2nd hole in one) in my golf career, lol, priceless!
