About
Northern Dunes Golf Club is a 18-hole championship course that tumbles across the gently rolling landscape of Bruce Peninsula. The front nine lays across natural sand dunes and while the back nine's landscape required a bit more work, it manages to seamlessly blend with the surroundings. Steve Young, the course architect, incorporated the classic elements of a traditional Scottish links layout but he also wanted the course to have a thoroughly modern feel. The result is a challenging design featuring large greens and over 50 bunkers filled with natural sand strategically placed throughout. The prevailing northwest winds provide another tricky element. Northern Dunes G.C. is ideally situated less than 10 miles from Lake Huron and Sauble Beach and is accessible from all directions.

Decent value
Played the course 2weeks ago when the course was still in great shape..best since I have played in many years. Bunkers need new sand.. too packed and for my liking… however I played recently and saw signs of dry fairways and lack of decent grass cover on many tee boxes as well as being very dry.
Over all the course was average for decent play and reasonable value for the money

Course is in great shape.greens are doing very well .rain has helped best shape ive seen it in.new patio around clubhouse being built .its looking good and great value .the only thing needs improvement is some of the tee blocks .
Northern Dunes First ime
First time at the course although I watched it being built over 39 years ago. My expectations were low going there but I was surprised how nice he course is. I will be revisiting this course again soon
