About

Northern Dunes Golf Club is a 18-hole championship course that tumbles across the gently rolling landscape of Bruce Peninsula. The front nine lays across natural sand dunes and while the back nine's landscape required a bit more work, it manages to seamlessly blend with the surroundings. Steve Young, the course architect, incorporated the classic elements of a traditional Scottish links layout but he also wanted the course to have a thoroughly modern feel. The result is a challenging design featuring large greens and over 50 bunkers filled with natural sand strategically placed throughout. The prevailing northwest winds provide another tricky element. Northern Dunes G.C. is ideally situated less than 10 miles from Lake Huron and Sauble Beach and is accessible from all directions.

Nice design, but not well maintained

Some interesting features and good potential.

Pace of play could have been faster as the group in front of us was slow and the course marshall did not intervene.

Tee boxes were bad. Spotty grass on most of them. Carts and tee boxes should have sand/dirt to fix divots. For the price, we were expecting more.
