About
Northern Dunes Golf Club is a 18-hole championship course that tumbles across the gently rolling landscape of Bruce Peninsula. The front nine lays across natural sand dunes and while the back nine's landscape required a bit more work, it manages to seamlessly blend with the surroundings. Steve Young, the course architect, incorporated the classic elements of a traditional Scottish links layout but he also wanted the course to have a thoroughly modern feel. The result is a challenging design featuring large greens and over 50 bunkers filled with natural sand strategically placed throughout. The prevailing northwest winds provide another tricky element. Northern Dunes G.C. is ideally situated less than 10 miles from Lake Huron and Sauble Beach and is accessible from all directions.

Great value compared to the limited choice in the area. Several challenging holes. Just wish groundskeepers could respect the players more, by quieting engines when shooting, and when watering vacating greens so a player can drive undistracted.
Pleasant Course
Enjoyed the course - lots of challenges, but not really a links course
What a difference
I played here a few years ago and said I would never come back because the course was so dry and rough. But the rain this year has allowed the beautiful layout to become very enjoyable. Had a great day!
Late afternoon round - very fast!
My wife and I played a twilight round - walking for 18 was just $25 each! There was hardly anyone else there as the weather had threatened rain and then cleared off. A really enjoyable round. With all the rain we’ve had the course was in better shape than it usually is in August.
Looking forward to going back.
Northern Dunes
The recent rains have transformed “The Dunes” into a must play golf course. Its a great layout and when its green it is fun to play.
