About
Northern Dunes Golf Club is a 18-hole championship course that tumbles across the gently rolling landscape of Bruce Peninsula. The front nine lays across natural sand dunes and while the back nine's landscape required a bit more work, it manages to seamlessly blend with the surroundings. Steve Young, the course architect, incorporated the classic elements of a traditional Scottish links layout but he also wanted the course to have a thoroughly modern feel. The result is a challenging design featuring large greens and over 50 bunkers filled with natural sand strategically placed throughout. The prevailing northwest winds provide another tricky element. Northern Dunes G.C. is ideally situated less than 10 miles from Lake Huron and Sauble Beach and is accessible from all directions.

Only played nine holes. Course was so dried out no water front nine . No rough. Tee boxes in terrible shape, uneven no grass.

Course begging for Agua !
Tee block to green only. Have to place the ball on a patch of grass if you can find a patch in fairway? Ball rockets off cement fairways … try to keep an eye on it!

I live near to this golf course and visit here whenever I am available though season.
The green is ALAWAYS best condition to play.
All staffs are so kind and cheerful.
Every single hole has unique, beautiful and enjoyable way.
I am so grateful to have this course with reasonable price.
Not happy
The course is very patchey and very dry. We payed $59 but would say it's a $35 course. Me and my friend decided it was our first and last round. Most courses I played this year are in better shape then usual, but not here. I feel if the course was in better shape, it could be a pretty good course.

Father’s Day golf tourney
Had a great experience golfing on Father’s Day. Zac at the front was really great and knowledgeable about golf, was able to answer all our questions. Highly recommend this course.
Northern Dunes
I live in the area and realize we have had little rain in the past 2 months but i will not play Northern Dunes again this year. Especially considering our foursome paid full price. Without an irrigation system it is a course to stay away from during a drought. But we enjoy the layout when its green. Ponds still have water in them use it to try to preserve the course.

So sad
A beautiful course with so much potential. Unfortunately the upkeep is none existent. Tee blocks and fairways are in horrible condition. I had to pick up my ball and search for something greeen to hit off of on every hole. I will not be returning.
