About
Northern Dunes Golf Club is a 18-hole championship course that tumbles across the gently rolling landscape of Bruce Peninsula. The front nine lays across natural sand dunes and while the back nine's landscape required a bit more work, it manages to seamlessly blend with the surroundings. Steve Young, the course architect, incorporated the classic elements of a traditional Scottish links layout but he also wanted the course to have a thoroughly modern feel. The result is a challenging design featuring large greens and over 50 bunkers filled with natural sand strategically placed throughout. The prevailing northwest winds provide another tricky element. Northern Dunes G.C. is ideally situated less than 10 miles from Lake Huron and Sauble Beach and is accessible from all directions.

Northern Dunes
I live in the area and realize we have had little rain in the past 2 months but i will not play Northern Dunes again this year. Especially considering our foursome paid full price. Without an irrigation system it is a course to stay away from during a drought. But we enjoy the layout when its green. Ponds still have water in them use it to try to preserve the course.

So sad
A beautiful course with so much potential. Unfortunately the upkeep is none existent. Tee blocks and fairways are in horrible condition. I had to pick up my ball and search for something greeen to hit off of on every hole. I will not be returning.

Good value
Older track with a couple of quirky holes but overall a scenic course with a decent layout. Greens are in good shape and putts roll nicely. Not overly long, so if you’re hitting your driver well you can make pars and sprinkle in a few birdies. Bunkers could use some sand, and you’ll want to avoid them for that reason. Food is great and the staff is friendly, and we always enjoy a relaxing round playing here without breaking the bank.
Great first day
My 2 boys got out their first time today ! They had a great time staff were great ! We will be back now that we purchased 2 memberships for them for junior golf !

Spring Conditions
Early spring conditions. Grass just starting to grow. Greens still have aeration holes in them. Sand traps require maintenance.
Carts have "covid barriers" so two can share.
