About
The classic design of Ingersoll Golf Club appeals to both avid and casual golfers. The layout is a good mix of holes, tricky doglegs as well as straightaways like the par-5 ninth, which is possible to reach in two. Mature trees line most of the holes and there is the occasional multi-tiered green to watch out for. Water makes an occasional appearance but the far more worrisome element of the round is the strategic bunkering that protects the greens. Ingersroll Golf Club's signature hole is the par-4 third. It features a small elevated green but it is doable with two good shots. The golf course ends with one of its toughest holes, a par 4 whose green is heavily protected on both sides by bunkers.

Tree-lined Challenge
Hadn't played this course for years. It is often wet and a couple of holes are unplayable, but this time all was in perfect shape. If you drive straightly-- no problem, but any off-line shot will mean a chip-out, as the trees lining most fairways are tightly spaced, preventing a long shot toward the green. Only a couple of holes have water. When slower players allow you to plat through, a round can be finished in just over 3 hours, which is very pleasant
Shot maker's course
Narrow tree-lined fairways make you think about every shot. The fairways and greens are in great condition. The bunkers look soft but the ones I was in had only minimal sand over a hard base, leading to some wayward shots. Overall a very pleasant golf experience.
Nice long course.
Beauty course. Planning to go again when it's not so wet. Walked it with my buddy but due to the length would recommend doing this with a cart
Fall Colours
Course is in good shape. It appears green have not been.aerated yet so made for good putting conditions. As it near the end of this golf season course was fairly open.
ingersoll green violation
It was terrible to see that someone had stolen a 4x4 and ran it through some of the greens that are distant to peoples homes and the club house. They should be made to pay for this so that the golfers that had to use an alternate green and try and put through tracks left on the green had some degree of payback. This obviously includes the club ownership and members who may need to eat the cost of damages which would be in the 10's of thousands. We were waved through by some slow play which helped improve the day. The course let players on to number 10 in front of us who then were slow.
Enjoyable Outing
We teed off a bit early, which was nice and played 9 holes before we began to wait at each hole for a series of several 2somes. Since we were a 4some that was unusual. The course was in nice shape and the greens were awesome. The fairway on #2, had only longer grass and no short typical fairways cuts. Little tricky to play that one. The course has hills, undulating fairways,, many trees (mostly pine!) and ample traps. There is not much water that comes into play on the course, just a couple of holes are affected, but, overall the course is interesting, well maintained and well worth playing. Even on a bit of a windy day, it was fun to play and we had a great day. Enjoy!
Cool day
We love this course! Play it again and again. We liked the prices last year better though. Lots of variety of holes. Slow today, but it was full.
Good Value
The course was in good shape and has a nice layout. Pace of play was fantastic. We got a good deal through golfnow and overall it was a good value.
Nice course,Poor communication
Course was aerating their back nine. There was no mention of that On Golfnow. Ended up cancelling our reservation and paid the course rate (5 bucks cheaper). Staff was friendly, told us that hole 6 had a temp green because of vandals on ATVs. Holes 4 and 5 had the same damage! ( tire tracks, grass clippings). Otherwise a nice front 9. Narrow fsirways and long rough.
Ingersoll
Enjoyed our day at Ingersoll. Having played it in the past I like the layout and the value is good. Staff are first class, however, the condition of tees and very thick rough around tees/greens needs a little tidying. Very mature trees line many fairways and could use some trimming to speed up ball searches. Overall, had a great day with friends, but was a touch disappointed with present conditions.
Great track
Nice layout, nice and thick rough if you are not on fairway, 4 hour round with carts, friendly bar staff... great value for the $$$... will play again
