Ingersoll Golf and Country Club
About
The classic design of Ingersoll Golf Club appeals to both avid and casual golfers. The layout is a good mix of holes, tricky doglegs as well as straightaways like the par-5 ninth, which is possible to reach in two. Mature trees line most of the holes and there is the occasional multi-tiered green to watch out for. Water makes an occasional appearance but the far more worrisome element of the round is the strategic bunkering that protects the greens. Ingersroll Golf Club's signature hole is the par-4 third. It features a small elevated green but it is doable with two good shots. The golf course ends with one of its toughest holes, a par 4 whose green is heavily protected on both sides by bunkers.

Good day at ingersoll
Enjoyed the day and course.Course was in good shape.
Making a come back
With new owners in place this course looks like it is making a comeback
I grew up playing this course and the last few years the course was not up to par. Playing this year you can see the new owners are starting to reinvest back into the course.
The rough is a little longer an I think it adds to the play and look of the course. The greens and sandtraps are being looked after again after some years of neglect.
Look forward to seeing this course become a jewel in the area again
This is an interesting course. Due to long winter, conditions are not up to par. We will return in a couple of weeks and I am sure it will be in great shape and I can write a much better review. This is normally a beautiful course.
Good Value Course
My wife and I recently played Ingersoll Golf Club and found it to be an enjoyable round. Course conditions would seem to indicate that they need more members to provide the revenue to continue improving this 18 hole layout. Probably best to walk this course if possible as we took a gas cart and found the fairways and rough extrememly bumpy - enough to book a same day appointment with your chiropractor after the round ! Pace of play was excellent - just under four hours. A few members allowed us to play through as a twosome which showed good club etiquette. The greens were soft and had many unrepaired ball marks but they rolled true. We enjoyed the restaurant and patio which we would recommend for a drink or lunch after golf.
Nice to play a course from 1952 and still in great shape even with an ownership change 5 years ago
Need to be straight on most holes
Enjoy
average experience
While it was still an enjoyable round, the course appeared a bit neglected (Stairs, paths, etc need repair, and carts are old). Greens were very soft, appears to be from recent wet conditions. Course felt "shoe-horned" into available space, even from the whites.
Awesome Greens
Was out with two of my sons for an early round of golf. My younger son had played here last year with me and wanted to return. It was an excellent day. The check-in staff at the pro shop and the starter were all very friendly and helpful. The course was in excellent shape from tee to green but I especially want to comment on the greens. They were awesome easily some of the best I have played on this year. They were soft and held well and ran true. My compliments to their greens keeper. It appears they have been doing some work on their sand traps. Nice new sand perhaps a little deep and fluffy as your feet sink in some of them. Halfway house was closed at the turn but we did manage to slip in to the lounge to get a drink and a sandwich as we past the clubhouse between holes 12 and 13. The course layout has a number of tree-lined fairways but is wide-enough not to be intimidating. The rough is not overly deep but the ball sits down in it making it difficult to find the ball sometimes. Overall a very enjoyable morning of golf and will definitely be returning.
Nice mature course.
Very much enjoyed our day at this course. Tree lined fairways and we'll maintained. Only minor complaint would be some cart paths need some repair. Stopped in the clubhouse after the round and the food was good as well. Recommend this course.
A Must Play...
You have to play this course...first chance you get in fact. I've played this course many times over the years and I think it's in the best condition that I've ever seen. Absolutely wonderful. The fairways are lush and cut to the perfect length. The greens are holding very well and are rolling true. I will admit that the bunkers need some attention but I was told that they have new sand and they will be worked on very soon. Don't listen to what you may have heard about the condition...the course is a gem once again. I'd play it every day if I could.
Average course for your average golfer
Average course that could be maintained better. Fairways were terribly cut and had huge puddles in areas. I know we had a lot of rain recently but the drainage seemed very poor.
Ingersol
Very cool course, we enjoyed our time! Will definitely play there again if we can find a good deal! Wonder where to find them? Haha...

Imaginative Layout
I don't play here frequently, but I always enjoy a round at Ingersoll. The layout is a good test of golf. The course is in good shape, with one notable exception: the sand traps. More care needs to go into keeping them properly maintained. The fairways were in quite good shape, and for greens that were aerated in the last two weeks, they ran fairly well. The GolfNow Hot Deal made the cost very attractive. Definitely give this course a try.
Needs some attention, but greens are in good shape
Ingersoll is no longer the course it once was. Bunkers around greens were good, but some fairway bunkers we we overgrown. Not sure why. No washroom facilities after 9. They should change the course back to the way it used to be. #13 should be #10 so you pass the clubhouse after 9. Would not play without a discount.
Overall the condition were fine, but not as pristine as it used to be.
