Innisfil Creek Golf Course
About
Innisfil Creek Golf Club was modeled after the traditional links courses of the Scottish seaside. It's a seemingly short layout at 5,674 yards from the back tees but don't be fooled. An abundance of water and an undulating terrain that ranges from subtle to dramatic will keep you on your toes. Contoured mounding, thick rough, and several strategically placed waste bunkers add to the links feel as do the whipping winds that blow across the golf course daily. There are enough challenging holes to please seasoned golfers but it's still gentle enough for beginners to tackle with confidence. The fourth hole is one of Innisfil Creek Golf Club's most memorable. This par 3 is nearly all water with a massive pond in front of the small green and a creek running behind it.

Interesting course with a weird layout
It was the end of the season and available for 3 players at noon. The course was in pretty good condition and greens seemed to putt fairly. There are plenty of water and sand challenges to keep you honest and a few drivable par 4s, which gave me some eagle putts. None made. . The amenities were nonexistent, perhaps as it was the end of the season,.
As for the layout, I thought the course needs a rethink of holes, with the some holes back to back and playing the same direction, a long walk from 2 to 3 and 9 to 10, which could likely be reworked in the future..
Otherwise, a nice way to end the season.
Thanks

Unfriendly Staff
Initial impression of the course was it was simple but at times very narrow with water hazards. Marshall on two occasions didn't allow replay of out of bounds shots even though we were well ahead of the group of the 4 behind us. Course didn't have enough signs pointing to start of next hole where the hole was on the other side. Marshall came off as rude when pointing to the start of the hole as if we were supposed to figure it out or know where it is. Overall not a great experience for coming here for the first time.
A hidden gem
Not the longest course but the 3 par 5’s are as good as any. This is a course to practice your accuracy. If you think you will power around here you will find the water. Always in good shape. It makes you think of your next shot.
I would play here again
Smoked meat sandwiches where amazing. Finally a golf course that sells an Amber Beer, thumbs up. Course was average. Many people who play here, do not fix ball marks or divots. Scorecard distances are not accurate so make sure you have a GPS watch or phone app. I think they moved some holes around and tee boxes due to being late in season. I understand as it’s Nov, so let’s not be too picky for still playing this late in season. Let’s be great full. Finding some tee box locations are difficult, but we managed. Course layout was nice with good obstacles and scenery.
Overall, I enjoyed my round of golf and it took us 4.5hrs on a jam packed day. I will be returning.
Good quality course
Golfed here a few times in 2020. The course conditions are overall pretty good. The only drawback is the clubhouse is under renos so no indoor washrooms or pro shop. Also, construction means you have to take a 5-7 min detour, not a big deal. Staff was friendly and accommodating. We did see a marshall hiding behind trees to "spy" on groups. Not sure what the deal was there, but I've never seen that before. Course is fairly easy but fun! I would definitely golf here again.
Discount course at premium price
Course should be priced at a discount rate to reflect the low budget nature of the course. If it was priced in the $20-25 range I wouldn’t have minded it, because that is the type of discount experience it was...but no way should I have had to pay $41 which is a comparable price to WAAAAY nicer courses in the Barrie area. The low quality experience starts when you have to take 3 detours to get around the road closures and massive construction zone in front of the course. Then the low quality experience continues when you get out of your car and hear the constant noise from Hwy 400, see that there is no clubhouse, indoor bathrooms, or any other off-course amenities. Then you get on to the course and see that there is no yardage listed on the Hole markers, there are no markers to tell you the directions of most of the bizarrely laid out holes, and that the course is maintained to a decent to substandard level. I was curious to try this course because I drive by it every day on Hwy 400, but I won’t go back until it is priced appropriately as the discount, second-rate golf course that it is.
Garbage service
Started 1 hour late because of frost, 20 ppl waiting at the 1st hole to start there rounds. Waited an addition 30 min for a cart because they ran out. Worst round of golf I’ve ever played, will never go back
Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We apologize that your day did not go as you may have hoped. Unfortunately the weather is the one item we can not control, whenever a golf course experiences frost they are unable to allow guests to walk on the turf grass as doing so would kill the plant. As one can imagine a delay like the one we faced during you visit will delay the entire day, and we do our best to contact all golfers however if there is no answer or phone number recorded we are unable to pass along this message.
Not great conditions.
Greens were in terrible shape. No amenities on the course except a small snack bar without much selection. Pace of played slowed down enormously on the back nine and no marshals to speed up.
Not worth the drive north of the city for the money.
Decent Course, Loud highway
Course layout and conditions were pretty solid, but the course is next to the 400 highway which makes it rather loud on about 50% of the holes. Windy day but I have a feeling the highway plays a part too.
Friendly Staff but greens were not the best
we would have rated this course better but the greens had just been aerated. Otherwise staff was very friendly and course was nice. The hay an online ordering system which was a little slow so better to grab from cart girl
