Innisfil Creek Golf Course
About
Innisfil Creek Golf Club was modeled after the traditional links courses of the Scottish seaside. It's a seemingly short layout at 5,674 yards from the back tees but don't be fooled. An abundance of water and an undulating terrain that ranges from subtle to dramatic will keep you on your toes. Contoured mounding, thick rough, and several strategically placed waste bunkers add to the links feel as do the whipping winds that blow across the golf course daily. There are enough challenging holes to please seasoned golfers but it's still gentle enough for beginners to tackle with confidence. The fourth hole is one of Innisfil Creek Golf Club's most memorable. This par 3 is nearly all water with a massive pond in front of the small green and a creek running behind it.

don't be fooled
great course started out very easy but it will surprise you. placement of shots is very important. Great track will be back for revenge!!!
Ok
Pros: staff, challenge of course, speed of play, not busy, low cost
Cons: travel from green to tee - confusing and not always safe (also could be signed better), snack bar - no potato chips?, seemed to be lots of ground under repair
Great deal , great little course
I have played Innisfil Creek many times. I have friends comment that they see it from the highway and it doesn't look like much. But you will be in for a great little surprise. Very challenging little track, bring extra balls. The condition of the course is great, I really love the greens. Will definitely be back for sure
the creek
Played this course 3 times this season so far. ...enjoyed it every time. The course is in great shape and the staff are very accommodating
Great Place
Go there frequently. Great location and generally a quick round.
short but tough
Overall nice course, first two holes are wide open gives u time to tune up because starting at 3 it gets tight with water and trees form there on , on most holes . 5s are decent with a couple of long 3s
IF YOU LIKE TO PLAY AROUND WATER COME HERE
I DID MY REVIEWS ON GOLF NOW LOOKING FOR A DIFFERENT COURSE THEN I ALWAYS PLAY. THIS LOOKED VERY INTERESTING TO ME SO I BOOKED. I GOT TO THE COURSE EARLY TO SEE THE SURROUNDINGS I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE WAY I WAS GREETED WHEN I CHECKED IN. THE STAFF WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY TO POINT OUT THE COURSE AND SOME HEADS UP ON SOME OF THE HOLES.FROM THE HOLES WHERE YOU HAVE TO HIT OVER WATER TO THE HOLES YOU HAVE TO THREAD THE NEEDLE THIS COURSE IS KEPT IN AMAZING CONDITION THE FAIRWAYS ARE TIGHT AND THE GREENS ARE TRUE .I HAVE TO SAY THIS IS A COURSE WORTH THE HOUR DRIVE FROM MISSISSAUGA .THANKS FOR THE GREAT EXPERIANCE I WILL RETURN KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK.
innisfil golf course
let me start by saying from the time i walked in to the club house i was treated great ,staff is so friendly they make you feel like your a member.the course was in awesome condition ,greens rolled very sweet other than the placement of the 3rd tee you can find your way around the course with ease.
a lot of holes with water in play you have to be on your game ,pace of play was very nice the marshal was out and about checking the pace and kept things moving great .i will return to this course to play again .even though im coming from mississauga i dont mind the travel when you have a great time thank you to the staff at Innisfil golf course .
Great for a tune up round
Nice little course. Positives: will test every club in your bag including the driver. Interesting layout; nice mounding; greens run very true; challenging water hazards; an absolute deal of the year as a hot deal
Negatives: some strange routing of holes creates the occasional dangerous situation; sand traps in below average condition; you will hear the traffic on the 400 for your entire round.
Poor Layout
The course was challenging with the very narrow fairways and hitting over water on a great number of the holes. The snack bar was good and staff was friendly and helpful. However, the signage for getting around the course was poor and you had to travel backwards to the next tee-box on some of the holes. Overall, though the price was right, I don't think I will be back. There are other courses that I would rather play.
Great bang for your buck. Good food, friendly staff!
Food was good, great little course, friendly staff.
Innisfil Creek Golf
Good for the price. I would give it a 3.5. First time playing here but the course seems to be improving. Its a pretty short, scoreable 'par 70' built on a small parcel of land. Well maintained tee boxes and fairways, greens aren't great, but I think it was due to damage from a storm so you can look for them to improve. Its too bad its right next to the 400 but that's what's keeping the rates low so far. Its 1 hour North of Toronto; good course if you want to get a round in on your way up North.
Very nice little course
Everything was very good - the weather, the shape of the course and the fact that we were able to play at a smooth pace.
Great course, great price
The staff at the course make the experience great right from the start. The course was well maintained and adds the right degree of difficulty for the average golfer.
Good course for the price
Booked last minute and got a great tee off time for a great price. Course was not busy at all at that time of the morning. Course was in great shape with a few really wet spots from previous days monsoon. Overall the course was great the staff was very friendly and played the round by myself in less than two hours. I loved the short par three which was 96 yards on day i played, the island green was a little bit daunting with the water below it. I would go back and play this course again for sure
clean up the course
After playing here for the past few years I've come to notice the lack of upkeep on the course. In particular, the one thing that stands out to me is the bunker. Firstly, remove the unsightly weeds and second, improve the drainage on both the course and in bunkers. I'd prefer not to waste my money playing here when for marginal difference in cost you can play superior courses in the area.
Fun and friendly
Started slow but the marshal moved things along and we finished in about 4 hours. Left the driver in the bag for all but 6 holes and played target golf so the narrow fairways weren't an issue. The greens were fast and smooth. The staff was very friendly. I found it moderately challenging but those in the group using driver all the time found it more difficult.
Great Value
Innisfil creek is great value and the staff are super friendly
Not A Bad Course
I'll start by saying that I saved 47% off regular green fees through golf now. The round cost $27.99 including power cart.
If I had paid full price for this course, the review would have a different rating. I found the discounted rate to fit the course condition.
Overall, it was a great value. The greens were generally kept, with only a few holes showing much wear. The layout of the holes seems very odd. It doesn't flow and walking the course would have been a workout.
The person who posted about the sand traps is entirely correct. They all seem like waste bunkers full of rocks and weeds. I wouldn't subject my new clubs to that.
The pro shop staff were all very friendly. They didn't have much ready to eat on the fly except for a few tuna and egg sandwiches and chocolate bars. This sufficed and the tuna sandwich was quite good.
Overall, I would certainly return under the same conditions (discounted rate.) I would not however pay full green fee price at this course. There are many better kept courses in the area for similar money.
bang for your buck
I,ve driven by this course over 1000 times and alway thouggt it was just a pitch and putt.
I was wrong, par 70 somewhat open but with alot of water and sand traps. It,s not traget golf..
As soon as we arrive the manager came over and welcomed us gave us the lay of the land and a guide book after asking if we been here before.
Great place for all levels of golfers
I will be back.
