Innisfil Creek Golf Course
About
Innisfil Creek Golf Club was modeled after the traditional links courses of the Scottish seaside. It's a seemingly short layout at 5,674 yards from the back tees but don't be fooled. An abundance of water and an undulating terrain that ranges from subtle to dramatic will keep you on your toes. Contoured mounding, thick rough, and several strategically placed waste bunkers add to the links feel as do the whipping winds that blow across the golf course daily. There are enough challenging holes to please seasoned golfers but it's still gentle enough for beginners to tackle with confidence. The fourth hole is one of Innisfil Creek Golf Club's most memorable. This par 3 is nearly all water with a massive pond in front of the small green and a creek running behind it.

First time at Innisfil Creek
Have never played here and had a late in the year opportunity to do so with a Golf Now deal and went for it.
Weather was forecast at 14 and overcast and we had high teens, blue skies and only a slight wind. Played in my shirt sleeves in mid November!
Couple of caveats on the ratings. Due to time of the year grill and golf shop were not fully open. Also, as to course conditions there were a lot of areas under repair and some rough cart paths that, given the time of the year should be excused, As there were many areas with work underway, i think it shows attention to the course and that it should be in great shape for next year, The greens were actually immaculate, fairly quick and very true. (players can do a better job of fixing pitch marks but this is not limited to this course)
Yardage is short but some doglegs, presence of the creek on many holes and some smallish greens provide some challenge.
While several par 4s offer a tempatation to go for the green with driver, a miss may prove costly.
Layout routing is a bit quirky, Pay close attention to signage and there are at least two holes that pose danger off the tee to the next group if not paying attention. Paths or better signs could be improved here.
Overall, I would call this course a great place to fine tune the driver and your wedge game.
Staff was very friendly and while the course was busier than expected, pace was good, at 4 hours and the other golfers were friendly and helpful in guiding us through the routing.
Looking forward to hitting this course again next year with some knowledge of where (and where not) to hit the ball.
deadly when windy
A great day. With winds gusting to 60 km,even the shorter holes become a challenge.A wonderful layout, squeezing a par 70 into a small footprint. Will go back as often as I can.
Good course to pkay
Good staff and course with very competitive price.
Challengeable course.
Unforgettable experience
I had one unforgettable experience in the course. I misplaced my sunglasses somewhere between when I went to grab a cart up to the green of the first hole. I was sure that if someone would have seen it in the cart parking or in the fairways, they would turn it in. someone told me that golfers are honest people. One of the staff, when told about it, immediately went to search for it. thanks for the prompt action.
Fun course
Played a late season twilight 18 yesterday and had a great time. Don't be put off by the clubhouse, they obviously spend the money on course maintenance because it was in wonderful shape. The greens were some of the best I have played this year, small and challenging. There are some long par-4's and 5's from the gold tee's and you better be accurate of the tee or you will be in trouble quick. Also, because of it's links nature and lack of tree cover you will be finishing up right into the sun this time of year so come prepared. I will definitely play here again, great value for the money.
Innisfil
I am a member of another course close bye my son
I gave Inissfil a try and for the$ money it was great the only minor complaint was the greens had recently been top dressed and a little slow and a little bumpy . They were put table and I understand the need for the course maintanence so only a small complaint the round VERY enjoyable, staff excellent and helpful!
Great track excellent shape
Perfect shape!! Greens had been aerated but rest of course was mint
Love the great features of the course
Love the course would play if again
Great deal monday morning
Came off a weekend of rain, the course was a bit wet, and had a few puddles/hazards. Overall enjoyed the layout and the friendly staff. The $18 dollar deal including cart was to good to pass up.
Morning 4 Some
Our arrival was met with very cordial and friendly staff and tee off was right on time. Despite the very dry summer, the fairways were lush and the greens impeccable. Pace of play was excellent with no back ups or delays. Accuracy is the key to success at Innisfil with water action on almost every hole. Weather was fabulous and the added wind factor increased the challenge. All in all a great Sunday morning of golf and a lot of fun!
Highly recommended.
Beautiful course
Def book a tee time here if you haven't before. It was my first time here and def won't be my last. Course was really well maintained and staff were very friendly.
Friendly staff and flexibility of operation
I've been regularly playing golf at Innisfilcreek once a week. Course condition is great and some challenge in some of halls. Staff are professional with kindness and operate with flexibility to make smooth rounding.
Course is in excellent condition
Unfortunately we were behind a golf tournament- were they couldn't even hit the ball. But beautiful day and course is in excellent condition.
Course maturing well
The course is tight, especially the front 9. Plenty of water hazards and bunkers, and there are also "natural" areas to watch out for. Greens are on the small side. Course conditions were quite good and the property is well maintained. I could not hit driver on any of the par 4s on the front 9, but could do on the 3 par 4s on the back.
The layout is odd between certain holes.
I liked my round.....started at 8:15 and finished in less than 3 hours (on a Tuesday). Fees are reasonable and deals can be found online.
Great value
The wife and myself played a very nice round of golf the coarse conditions were very very good nice and green
Nice course
Second time play this course, like to play here.
This course is well maintained and challenging.
We found this course to be in excellent condition and challenging -- several holes with water as well as thick rough to get over. First time for us on this course and we will definitely come back again. Great course. T-off times were scheduled properly so you didn't feel rushed.
Better than ever!
I golf here once or twice every summer. The overall condition of the course and facilities improves each year. A decade or so ago it was like playing in a swamp. Now it is a great golf experience. Well manicured and lots of variety.
I think i will bump up my frequency of play there significantly. Great value for the money too. Keep up the good work guys and gals.
Worth the drive
I found that this course was well groomed for this time of the season. It was excellent value for the money when booked through Golf Now. There are a couple of swampy sections but hopefully with time they'll dry up!
