Best public course in Ottawa
Me myself , wife and daughter played it with one of the Marshall (on a day off) and loved this little gem in Ottawa.The layout was beautiful!
The staff and starter are so nice!
A wet round
Course was soggy due to a downpour the night before, but a great course nonetheless.
Loch Marsh
The Loch Marsh Golf Course was in first rate condition. The greens were very fast and true.
Ottawa's finest
Easily this course rates as one of Ottawas best public courses. When in top shape it may in fact be.
Many challenging/beautiful golf holes. Highly recommend this course come fall, when the trees change.
Also the beers are cold
Scenic Golf
Well maintained championship golf course but designed for all levels of golfers.
Course is in excellent condition in lieu of the recent hot dry weather.
Little Expensive
Nice course, a couple of greens were in rough shape along the edges and they played fast. Fairways and tee boxes were in good shape. I found it way over priced $212 for 3 golfers (18) and 2 power carts. That was with the pro shop only charging 1/2 cart 3 ways as well as twighlight price. It was challenging course well laid out with a bit of water, bunkers and some tight fairways. Staff was friendly and helpful. The marshall gave tips on the 10th hole and walked over to hole 16 to chat us up and give some course pointers. Also came over on 18 and helped look for a ball with us. I think with the heat the cart girl should have done a couple more rounds we only seen her once. Overall good course but don't think it was worth what we paid. Would recommend if you want to pay high prices.
