Good condition
The golf course layout an condition are good
There are some slowe golfer, so it would be good if Marshall course take care of them a little.
Bunkers like concrete and slow play.
Pass of play was slow
Group cut in front of us at 10th hole
This group had no golf course etiquette - drobe all over the fairways back and forth.
Called pro shop, no Marshalls available. Nothing they could do
Round wound up being well over 5 hours.
Bunkers un-playable
Rest of course was fine.
Good luck finding your ball in a sea of white weeds
I lost probably 6 balls because the entire course is covered with a white flowery weed. It's impossible to find anything hit just off the fairway. Used to love this course, but the groundskeeping has gone downhill precipitously.
Add this to must play list
Great course setting and course options. 4 courses to choose from with a nice practice area.
New carts with chargers and GPS! Course was in good condition but some greens and tee boxes needed more care.
Slow pace of play during my round Saturday 1248pm but it was fully booked.
On course services was nice with good beverage options.
Wet beyond belief - Wind didn't help either
The course was extremely wet on most fairways, there was ponding in about 10 of the 18 holes and almost every fairway you got your feet soaked. I assume they had lots of rain prior to Sunday, but this course (West Course) is famous for wet fairways. It was just terrible. Will need a few sunny days in a row to dry this one out to suitable playing.
5.5 hours to play 18 holes..
5.5 hours to play a round of golf.. they jam pack everyone in so they make more money. Wouldn’t recommend. Have to space it out more.
Not only very windy, but very cold.
The course was very challenging today due to the extreme winds (50-60kms per/hr.) This also caused tree leaves to be everywhere and anywhere. We lost a combination of at least 20 balls because it was difficult to contrast the leaves from the balls even when the ball was a foot away. Our ball would be in the middle of the fairway and with so many leaves, it was nearly impossible to locate it. On top of that the temperature was only 8 degrees Celsius with a Windchill of 0. Incredibly cold, my hands almost froze. Never again.
:(
Tee platforms need maintainence
The course can be said in a pretty good condition. Fairways n greens are in good shape. Leaves were blown off most fairways n roughs cut short making finding the balls easier. However, pace is still a bit slow. Tee platforms were a problem and need repairs. Check in was super quick with friendly n polite staff.
Somewhat wet on the fairways
The pace of play for a change was excellent. The layout was good for the most part. However, the course condition was wet in a few areas which was surprising in that it hadn't rained for a few days. I can't imagine what it would be like if we had a normal rainfall the day or night before. Some of us were affected by the course condition. In particular, on one of my drives, I was expecting a 250 - 275 yard drive distance, but on the first bounce the ball hit a water hazard in the middle of the fairway. When we drove up to it, the ball just stuck there the water hazard was about a foot deep and about 3 square feet around and could not be seen from the tee-off area. This needs to be filled in with soil. As a result, I did not win that hole.
