Hickory Ridge Golf and Country Club

This course is always well kept. Friendly staff. One of my favourites to play.

Great front but every green on the back nine was freshly aerated which made for a terrible back nine, wish we we warned or given a discount

Was here early in August and rained out and returned a few days later and enjoyed the layout Thought would try again on extended long weekend

Short but interesting course several short par 4s that are drivable and this slows okay a bit. Was much busier today and waited on most tees

Bit disappointed to find the back 9 had been aerated. No notice when booking on golf now or course web site. Also paid nearly full rate for the round. This is the reason for average conditions rating but apart from this course was in good shape

Will play again

My big issue was condition of the greens. They air rated the hole back 9 and if they would of informed us we would of played the first 9over after seeing the 10th green and how hard it was to play. I booked a 4 some and had two friends travel down from Barrie ont. Boy did I feel crappie I told them I was unaware of the condition of the course.

Course was great. Greens were dried out but everything else was great!

Every time i come here i play my best. Course always in good conditions. My only complaint is the two times i have played there i would show up early and tee off late due to staff delays. Just takes too long to sign in. But love the course.

Other 3 were a family celebrating mum s birthday

They didn t want me along

And I m happy playing by myself and enjoying nature

So staff graciously gave me a cart and let the others folllow

Everyone was happy

Decent course overall. Fast greens. Picturesque. Good amount of water. Not a lot of bunkers. Nice wide fairways. Was a bit wet from too much rain and the air was damp so the ball didn't travel as much. Not too many golfers due to the time of the year.

Really enjoyed this course.

Not a long course, but a fun track to play.

Course was in great shape for late October.

Greens were very receptive, rolled quick and true.

A leisurely,relaxing round.Only took a little more than 3 hours.Course is short but well kept with enough variety to make it interesting.

This course is fun to play with both long and short holes and various challenges throughout the course. It is suitable for all levels of golfers. The staff are always friendly and accommodating. I've played this course often and love the scenic aspect of being out in the country. I feel that the "rough" could be a bit shorter. All in all, a positive experience!

This is a short course, 5000 yards from the tips, some tight fairways and several drivable par 4's, ok course for a quick round no real challenge for an above average golfer.
