Slow play
The round took 4 hours 45 minutes. Singles and doubles interspersed among foursomes with seemingly no attempts by Marshall to manage pace. Also, the club only allows two carts per foursome, so as a single you are forced to ride with someone else. This is one of the more expensive courses in the city, and other less expensive courses manage to provide individual carts.
North Course
Lots of ball marks on the greens, greens ran fairly slow for what I was expecting to be a good track. Overall I liked the North Course although we didn’t get 18 in as we had twilight rate. Would definitely go back to play the South or North again.
Friday Afternoon Round
The North course is in great shape and has many scenic and challenging holes. Even with significant rainfall the day before, the drainage made sure the course played well, just not much extra roll distance on shots. Cart path only was my only frustration, but understandable due to the condition. Staff was great and facilities were top notch…I would highly recommend the North Course to any golfer looking for a great round….
Bad greens
Greens are neglected and choppy. Balls Mark's are not repaired and many areas on greens are dead and not seeded. Very disappointed with the condition of the greens should be a priority for the course
Great Golf Course
Truly a pleasurable time was spent on the North golf course at Angus Glen. You understand why there have been a number of championships like the Canada Open that have been played there. Outstanding and well maintained golf course.
Storms
Didn’t finish, thunderstorms, got thru 13, received a 30 credit for future game
Good course for client golf
Angus Glen North is a good course for client golf. Generally forgiving off the tee, the greens are perched with run offs. The pins were tucked today which made putting fun. We teed off at 730 and finished sub 4 hours which was great!
