For the price it leaves you wanting
The course is in worse shape then in other years
And the rules in place for covid are appreciated but in some cases overdone and more to inconvenience the player than for safety
Example : carrying the bags from cars to cart and then walking to club house to pay and walking back to cart. No safety reason there only arrogant demands for a high price paying player
Definitely not worth the money now
It was well worth it before
But there is better value and better cared for courses in the gta
Not worth the money
For the price, not worth it. Course used to be in great shape years ago, not now, Dead or dried out areas on fairway, t blocks, and some greens.
Sorry Angus, I guess your banking money this year as conditions are suffering. Wont be back this year or until I hear conditions improve when your spending $130+
Great layout poor conditions.
I haven’t played this course in a couple of years, but I was shocked at how beat up the course this year. In addition we were told by the starter that pace should be 3 1/2 to 4 hours. We played in 440, following a very slow group who had 3 open holes ahead of them. I wished that a staff member would have come out and told them to keep up with the group ahead. Lastly, there was no forward tee for a member of my group on hole 14, not a good look for any golf course.
Terrible conditions.
For the price...some of the worst conditions I have ever seen.
I have played Angus Glen before and was expecting a treat for rhe price. Bur the tee boxes..the greens and the overall condition of the course merits a 50.00 charge...AT BEST.
Will never go back and will tell any of my friends to steer clear.
Greens were in rough shape
Disappointing day! For a supposedly premium course the quality and value were just not evident. I have played the course in previous years and found that the maintenance and client experience has significantly deteriorated. The greens were in poor condition Staff friendliness was inconsistent and the patio restaurant was poorly set up and managed. Overall, not worth the money.
Angus Glen North has seen better days
Very playable challenging course. Very well organized bag drop and cart area and excellent pace of play. Felt the course looked tired and was shocked to see the condition on the tee boxes. When you charge premium fees you set an expectation for course condition.
This course is over priced
There is major differences between the North and the South course. The north is in rough condition greens were terrible and course was not in line with the price. The south was very enjoyable I was able to play right after the north and was very happy with the layout and the greens .
Angus Glen
First impressions are very important. There was no signage pointing out the bag drop area. We went to were it would have normally been. From that point our arrival was mildly chaotic when they could have it easy. This made arrival amateur and unprofessional for what is supposed to be a high end course
Terrible condition
Course is in atrocious condition. Extremely overpriced
Course condition not adequate
Played the North course yesterday . Wow, what happened to Angus Glen ?
This used to be so nice . The course is baked out with llitter everywhere.
I had planned to bring a guest next week to play here, but we cancelled.
Not sure I can bring a guest without warning them about the poor condition of the course and facilities .
The staff were great , but they need people to clean and maintain the course and grounds.
Hence, my one star overall rating.
