Bushwood Golf Club

Overall, the course is nice to play. Things that I don't like:

- the greens and the next tees are too close together. It would be better if there are nets that one can stand behind at the tees.

- too many cart path only holes. It is a walkable course, but it should be more rider friendly.

- hole 16 is too distracting with a busy road on one side and a big pond on the other. Netting along the road where the pond is would be great.

Course is in great shape , good place ,staff friendly.

Fairways on #3 and #16 holes in this golf course are located dangerously close to the traffic road. The space between the fairways and the road is very narrow,not to mention there are no nets installed to prevent any incidents.

Last month I mishit a golf ball at the #3 hole and the stray ball hit a bypassing vehicle,breaking the windshield.The driver filed a claim so we filled out the incident report at the pro shop together, and later on I paid him hundreds dollars for repair.

However, Bushwood golf course insists they are not to be held responsible in any way. From what I remember at the pro shop there were piles of incident claims sitting there, which could only mean that there have been many similar incidents in the past. I seriously cannot comprehend 50 years of history can completely neglect this issue and not take any responsibility,while they are fully aware of the shortcomings of their golf course.

Golf here at your own risk(especially #3 and #16 hole), as a mishit golf ball may put severe dent in your wealth. I will never be back again. I never recommend this golf course!

Course was not busy at all, most likely due to mothers day. surprised that they have not finished many of the repairs around the course. several holes with bunkers that weren't completed, basically a mud pit. Due to fact it was mothers day, trying to buy a snack at the turn resulted in a 15min wait because all the brunch clients were paying their tab at the one and only cash register/snack bar/restaurant. won't return until i know all the course work has been completed. They should be reducing their rates with these conditions right now.

This course is in good condition at this early spring.

The holes were challenging long and narrow. Great 18 holes.
Very few short par 3. Water and other hazards placed where you do not expect them makes for a good challenge.

Course was OK. Bunkers were not well maintained and fairways were okay, but too many leaves causing slower play while trying to locate balls that should have been findable... granted it was windy and fall season so fair enough. Greens however were in great condition.

Overall I felt quality of course against cost was not a great value. Don't get me wrong it's a decent course but I've played nicer for same or less money, so that's why I would not recommend to my friends, but wouldn't discourage anybody from playing there either.

Stay in the fairways or you're in trouble. There were lots of leaves and I lost a couple of balls. I still shot a 90. There are some long par 3's - 2 at 200 yds.
A couple of blind holes as well. From the blue tees it's only 6200 yds. Ok for amateurs.

I have always enjoyed playing Bushwood, though I have never been a fan of a par-3 closing hole. You definitely want to keep the ball in the fairway but most holes are very open and even an errant shot in the rough is playable.

Bushwood presents a good challenge for the amateur and you do have to think yourself around some holes like the par 4 11th. It is a risk-reward kind of a hole. While a lay up short of the creek and bush at 200-240 yards off the tee would be the better play, if you can carry your tee shot 220-260 yards then you have a great chance of reaching the green or getting within pitching range on your first shot.

For a moment there, I thought I was going to challenge Bubba Watson's scoring record on this course...but the last 16.5 holes proved otherwise.

There was no starter and no marshal. It might have been this that allowed for such slow play.

The entire staff is doing a great job at keeping the course in great shape.

I showed up on a holiday Monday as a single with a reservation. There was no starter but was told to go to the first tee. There was line-up of groups mostly twosomes. We had to organize ourselves into threesomes and foursomes. Play was extremely slow. There were no course marshalls that I could see. Waited on every hole. One time there were three groups waiting to tee off. Left after 14 holes which took about 4.5 hours.

This course over books and has. I marshells or starter it's a scam

Due to circumstances bushwood tends to be the end result when I'm looking to play. I have been here about 6 times this summer. Pace of play is terrible. There is no marshall. The odd time that there is, makes no difference. For me its a course that I lose interest in real quick when I have to wait so long to play my shots.
I like the course, its not bad. Overall, I think every golf course should make riding mandatory.

I got lose getting there but I am glad I founded , the greens are in really good conditions for a 50$ course, interesting lay out {not boring}, Ill be back next week

Got stuck behind 3 groups that could barely hit 100 yards off the tee, with no Marshall on the course to help speed up play. Course condition was ok, but day was ruined waiting on every tee for 5 minutes

A easy walk. Hole 16 is difficult due proximately of pond a narrow approach.

This is going to sound biased but this was a great course, and it definitely helped I shot my best round in years. It wasn't close to Bubba Watson's course record but it was good enough for me. Recommended to anyone I know.
