About
Bushwood Golf Course offers both an 18-hole Championship Course and a nine-hole Executive Course. Bushwood offers some of the most affordable golf in the area. The 18-hole course is a manageable 6,500 yards from the back tees, making it approachable for players of all skill levels. It has a traditional parkland design that is player friendly enough for beginners. While it may not be what you're looking for if you want a formidable test, there are some risk-reward opportunities that more advanced players will appreciate. Rolling farmland surrounds the parkland layout. The tight, contoured fairways tumble across gently rolling terrain and there are more than 40 bunkers lining the softly undulating greens. Mature trees frame many of the holes and Duffin's Creek snakes through the front nine.

Hole Quality
The course in general is mundane. Front nine only has one par 3. Ninth hole is wide open, long and boring. Like playing in a pasture. Back nine is a little more interesting. You will use every club in your bag and is long enough so its a challenge.

Good conditions and good value
Played my second round of the year, and overall had an enjoyable round. The course is in great shape for this early in the season and staff were very friendly as always. The pace was a little slow, although it was a Saturday, and in particular one of the first truly warm weekend's of this year.
Poor fairway and green condition
Fairways and greens were littered with leaves.. A ball hit right into the fairway could be lost due to the many dead leaves. There appeared to be no attempt by grounds staff to clear the fairway of debris.

the course is too busy on sunday, and there are too many people who still dont know how to play playing there
Repair your divots people!!!
This course is a decent course. The fairways are generous if you are a little off line on your tee shots. The greens were okay but way too many un-fixed divots. One of my pet peeves are un-fixed divots. For each green, my group had to repair 2 to 4 divots near our putting line. Repair your divots people! Who do you guys think you are?!?!?!? I guess that's more to do with the players who play this course rather than the course itself.
late online booking
I got warned by the staff tthat there was a tournament still on the course. After the third hole our foursome contacted the backup. It was extremely slow play from thereon in. We teed off at 2:15 and finished at 7:24, getting the benefit of good t-balls on the 18th hole, otherwise they'd have been unfindable. Course should put some buffer time after the golf tournament. Perhaps start twilight time rates sooner, sell 9 holes only.
Greens and traps were in good condition.

I played golf with my friend. He liked this golf course because golf course were managed well and the whether is very good.
Nothing spectacular
Played the championship. Nothing special on this track. Pace of play killed the round alongside the puddles of water everywhere. Doesn't seem to have proper drainage system to handle rainfall the night before. Overall okay.

Booked as a single on Golfnow - got a cheaper rate at the course, without asking. Conditions fair, but fairways shaggy, sandtraps hard and greens full of unrepaired ballmarks. Not surprising, since I had to wait on almost every shot for the threesome ahead of me; they were obviously not frequent (nor skilled) golfers... I guess to be expected on a Sunday of a long weekend. No marshall to be seen. Can't complain too much because of the price I paid, but I would pay more if conditions and pace of play were better.
Pretty decent size course
Not a bad sized course but it needs work. Greens and grass need to be maintained better. Club house needs a facelift. Again not to bad for a twilight.
walking and had fun
first time to walk the 180 holes, little bit tired, but the weather was nice and had fun.
Great pace of play
Second time playing Bushwood this season, and much like the last round, the course was in great shape (other than being a little soggy from rain the night before). Previously I've found the pace of play can get a little slow here, especially when playing on weekends, however this time there were absolutely no delays and we didn't have to wait on any holes.
Price is good
For the price I paid through golfnow it's playable course. Greens could use some maintenance. Good course for when you don't feel like spending a ton of money
