We were behind a foursome of two men and two women and the first nine holes took about 2 hours and 15 mins to complete, because everyone putted out on every hole even if it was for a 7 or 8, or from 1 foot away! This group ended up being two holes behind the group ahead, even though they started right behind them! We finally saw a course marshal after finishing our 11th hole and told him they should wave our threesome past them. On his instructions, they did at the 12th hole. We zipped around after that and finished in just over 4 hours. These days golfers don't seem to know the etiquette of golf. Wave people through if you want to dither around. Slow play is the bane of enjoying a round of golf!
Golf at Remington Parkview.
Great course. Already played over 20 times this year, including the Valley Course. Pace was a bit slow but with 28 degrees temperature , course was probably fully booked. . Everyone around, staff and fellow players, were completely friendly and accommodating. Love playing either Courses for convenience and always able to get a tee time.
Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a Great Golf Club.
Good valued course, sand traps need work
Good Course overall, fairway a bit hard/dry, sand were not good
Slow pace on a beautiful Saturday
Conditions were good and weather was terrific but slow play with the group ahead kills any momentum. We were waiting almost every hole - the group ahead appears to take their time. No Marshall in sight to encourage a the golfers a bit to speed up play.
