slow play
This is like Deja Vue! Unfortunately we were a twosome playing behind 4. one of them was good and the other 3 hackers, but they NEVER thought of letting us play through! No marshal was around our whole 18 holes to talk to. It took 4 hrs 15 minutes and a LOT of standing around to finish our 18 holes.
Clearly most golfers don't know or care about letting faster/better golfers play past them!
Not Recommended
Played this course with a couple friends recently and the course wasn't terrible for the price. If you're looking for scenic views it's not the place, but the greens were alright. The deal breaker for my friends and I was the staff. Extremely rude to us for simply no reason. The staff in the restaurant were uptight and the starter clearly had something up his butt. Blatantly disrespectful because I guess he was annoyed we didn't know where to go and asked a couple questions. His sass was not necessary as this was our first time playing Remington. Don't think I'll be going back.

Great price, not a bad layout, greens in great shape, fairways need some work, a few of them rock hard.
Morning Round on Upper Course
This was my first time playing this Upper Course this season. Our twosome had a 7:24 am tee time and played behind a group of 4 for the front 9 before letting us through. After that, we didn't see anyone and finished the round in 3 and a half hours. Course condition is average. Tee boxes could be in better shape. The biggest area for improvement though are the greens. They were very long and slow, the slowest I've experienced in a while. If greens rolled true, it may be worth the value but there are better courses to choose from for this price.
Welcome surprise.
Took a trip from Windsor to play. Because of traffic we were 20 minutes late for our tee time. Staff was so understanding and accommodating. Course was extremely busy. Pace was a little slow but the course was beautiful and well kept. We really enjoyed the course and will be back.
Satisfying overall
Course was relatively satisfying overall. However, there is a strange layout were you have to walk/cart over a active railway track. While I played on Saturday there were at least 3 long CP Canada Trains that went by. So, when you have finished playing some holes, you have to cross the railway track with some risk of danger and some will have to wait until the train passes. What happens if the train stops? Hmmm! The course conditions were favourable and there were no little to no hills involved. So minor sloping areas at best.
Being an intermediate golfer, I like the overall course layout where play is at a good pace because not a lot of hazard ie looking for lost balls.
