Slow
Course overall is good. Pace of play very slow. Saw a group hit balls numerous times whenever they missed. Course management need to give lessons who do these even they visit regularly. They must ruin reputation regurlarly.
Valley course
Greens and fairways in good shape. Still need a practice area to warm up.
Basically a jungle gym.
People crashing carts, people running over garbage cans, people doing burnouts and powerslides in a golf cart.... It felt like a lawless round of golf. The slowest pace of play I've ever been a part of for 5600 Yards. If there was a marshall out there to keep people in check, it would be a completely different story.
It's a shame considering the potential of this place.
The gem in Markham
Absolutely love this course, but finding it increasingly difficult to book a round, unless you book a couple of weeks in advance. Having said that when we do play it we just love it. This course has a ton of character, a lot of interesting holes and course knowledge is a definite help around here. Can't wait to get on the Valley course again.
This course doesn't deserve our money
I never write reviews but seemingly everytime I play here there is an unbelievable pace of play problem. The course is >6000 yards and still plays 5 hour rounds. Not a Marshall to be seen while the course turns into a zoo. We saw two people crash golf carts, one into a tree and one ran over a garbage can, spilling it's contents. Our playing partners were trapped on hole 5 as their cart would not start, this happened to them twice. Multiple groups waiting on the same tee due to terrible pacing.
Like I said, this happens EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
It's not hard to put GPS in carts to stay on top of this.
Tee boxes, and most greens in terrible shape.
Please don't play here until this course makes the necessary changes to prove they actually care about customer experience
Great course for the money
only issue I have is the slow play . Constantly waiting on each hole .
Simply the best
Like the title implies, this course is simply the best in the area, there was a time when we could book a round fairly easily, not now, you have to book a couple of weeks in advance, that'll tell you how popular this track is. It rained heavily a couple of days before, yet the course was in impeccable condition, a couple of wet spots here and there but nothing to worry about. Greens were holding well, and they weren't super fast. All in all a great day, which, by the way, was started off by a great breakfast in the restaurant.
Slow Play
I would like to express a minor concern regarding the pace of play during my recent round of golf. The group ahead of us was particularly slow, and we found ourselves waiting on every hole. As a result, I have rated the overall experience as 4 stars.
