a great day of golf
Had a great time, staff was friendly on all counts, dining and refreshments facilities and variety of food available was excellent. A pleasant surprise since most courses this time of year are running out of everything or closing their dining.
Over booked, started assigned some good friends ahead of my tee time. 100% witnessed.
Pace of play was terrible
We had a tee time for 8:50am on the valley course. Expecting to get out of the course before 1pm that did not happen. We teed up and played the 1st hole. Made it to the 2nd tees only to be waiting for the group ahead to tee off. The group in front of them were very slow. However we noticed also the group ahead of us had 4 players and three golf bags. This should not be allowed. Ever. On top of that, their abilities to play efficiently were not there. They were teeing up from the fairways, driving around looking for golf balls all over the place and walking around in the wooded areas trying to find as many as they could. We and the group behind us were very frustrated and had told them numerous times to play ready golf. That did not happen. On top of that they also were driving golf carts where they should not be driving and even on the fringes of the greens. All in all I used to love playing here, but playing for over 5 hours is ridiculous. The marshal also did nothing to help speed up the flow. We were all very disappointed and will not be coming back
The course is in excellent condition and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves yet gain on your course.
Only complaint is that the beer hut local to #5 tee was closed by the time we came back a second time at 1520 hrs.
Course is challenging but not extreme
If I had to choose just one course to play all season,
it would be this one ( valley course).
Beautiful course
If you like obstacles this is a great course for you with a lot of nature elements.
Pace of play
The club management makes zero efforts to manage the pace of play. At twilight, average 10 to 15 minutes wait on every tee. Complete waste of time and money
