Turtle Creek Golf

About
Laid across rolling countryside atop the Niagara Escarpment, Turtle Creek Golf uses the natural undulations of the landscape to its full advantage. The hilly terrain combined with the rocky outcroppings scattered throughout add to the scenic nature of the golf course. The elevation of the terrain shifts between subtle and dramatic. For the most part, the layout is wide open but there are some trees to be wary of as well as some rough areas. Water plays a prominent role on the course, coming into play on 12 of the 18 holes. Turtle Creek's idyllic charm flows from the course to the clubhouse, which incorporates a stone building from 1835.

Worth a try!
First time playing the course...conditions were not bad considering it's a public course.Fairways very tight. If playing in the fall, time be careful because the leafs will make you lose lots of balls. Overall great course conditions considering it was the end of of the season. Greens roll very nicely
What a great find!
Turtle Creek is a beautiful little course with a compact but challenging layout. Some of the par ratings for the holes are a bit generous - many a birdie to be made here - but the course demands accuracy. It's best suited for a strong irons player. I don't play that many courses, but this one was a favourite. Went with my two grown boys and we all had a great time!
Late October
Nice course but need to be a bit of a long ball hitter. Greens extremely tough. Well kept.
Turtle-Turkey Golf
Played on Thanksgiving weekend, was a little chilly but had a great day of golf on this challenging well maintained coarse
So much potential
The course is in a beautiful area and the surrounding area is very scenic.
The course is poorly maintained. Tee blocks were just piles of dirt and I kept breaking my tee trying to get it in.
Could be fantastic with more tlc.
A nice challenge
The course is shorter but the interesting layout keeps it challenging. It is very scenic and we'll maintained. The greens were hard, that would be the only complaint. We just had to adjust our strategy. We will play it a little better the second time, which we are looking forward to.
First time walking off a golf course...
There is no starter or marshals on this course. The pace of play was absolutely terrible, there were 3 groups on almost every tee. There are a number of blind tee shots where you can't see the group ahead of you. We were hit into on the 15th hole that came within a foot of us. We finally walked off the course after this happened, its not worth the risk or the wait.
First time walking off a golf course…
There is no starter, and no marshals to monitor the pace of play on this course. 2 foursomes per tee box on every single hole. We finally walked off the course on the 15th when there were 3 groups on the tee box. We had a group hit into us on one of the numerous blind tee shots. Balls were flying all over this course with no one yelling fore, this place is dangerous. The course is kept in good condition, but the layout is very gimmicky. disappointed to say the least.
Marshall was unfriendly
Marshall was rude to our groups as we played in six at times because the group in front of us was too slow. I complained to the manager about our experience and was promised 6 free rounds which I have yet to see
