Turtle Creek Golf
About
Laid across rolling countryside atop the Niagara Escarpment, Turtle Creek Golf uses the natural undulations of the landscape to its full advantage. The hilly terrain combined with the rocky outcroppings scattered throughout add to the scenic nature of the golf course. The elevation of the terrain shifts between subtle and dramatic. For the most part, the layout is wide open but there are some trees to be wary of as well as some rough areas. Water plays a prominent role on the course, coming into play on 12 of the 18 holes. Turtle Creek's idyllic charm flows from the course to the clubhouse, which incorporates a stone building from 1835.

Beautiful course, challenging from the tips
One of the nicer public courses in the area if you can get past the slow pace due to number of hazards.
Slow greens
Greens were very slow. Overall condition was impressive. Recommend
Ridiculous layout
Played the tips as the course is fairly y short. The course starts with a par 5 where you’re completely blocked out from hitting anything more than a 5 iron. Then you’re left with 300 yards to the green. Then we get to the green which is crowned with a ridiculous pin placement. Figured this was just a tough hole. Not an ideal starting hole but ok on to 2. Which is a par 3 that is also crowned with multiple tiers. And this continued for the entire round. Back 9 is a terrible layout. On a few holes you need to fly the ball about 240 just to clear the swamp and bushes
Turtle Creek
Nice Golf course , shirt yet challenging
Small greens , narrow fairways , really enjoyed it
Nice course for the price
Decent course, tee boxes were not good, only complaint. Good course for the price.
Worth a try!
First time playing the course...conditions were not bad considering it's a public course.Fairways very tight. If playing in the fall, time be careful because the leafs will make you lose lots of balls. Overall great course conditions considering it was the end of of the season. Greens roll very nicely
What a great find!
Turtle Creek is a beautiful little course with a compact but challenging layout. Some of the par ratings for the holes are a bit generous - many a birdie to be made here - but the course demands accuracy. It's best suited for a strong irons player. I don't play that many courses, but this one was a favourite. Went with my two grown boys and we all had a great time!
