About
St. Clair Parkway Golf Course is situated along the shores of its namesake river. The parkland layout has wide, forgiving fairways and greens that are subtly undulating, making them difficult to read at times. The greens are well known also for their size, some of which measure in excess of a quart of an acre. There are lakes and streams that come into play on several holes as well as strategically placed sand bunkers. St. Clair Parkway's finishing hole is the course's signature, a reachable par 5 that is characterized by the tree located in the center of the landing area. It also requires a tricky shot over a creek to a large, heavily protected green.

The course and staff were great.
I am a senior and played from the gold tees, I should have played from the red tees as that would have been more suited to me as I can no longer hit a ball 200 yards. Many par 4's I could not reach in 3 shots.
Course is in nice shape.
Thought the pace of play was slow. Had to wait at every tee off but had a look around and the course was just full on every fairway.
Unfriendly Staff
I have played many courses, but the staff at this course gave new meaning to unwelcoming. To begin, the starter "interviewed" us prior to heading out as to our golfing abilities and made tee suggestions for us. Next, We had to print and then sign "in" on a clipboard before starting. Okay, we thought, this gives new meaning to being over the top for a mediocre public course. Then, as the day progressed things only deteriorated. The Marshall apparently thought he was an actual town Marshall in the worst way. We were literally stalked throughout the course with constant negative feedback on our every move. We were a foursome of 40 and 50 year old professionals who were not drinking and are experienced golfers. Please take my advice when I say don't waste your time and money at this course.
Fairways and greens in excellent condition. Traps needed work as sand was hard packed . Pace of play was a bit slow as a group with 5 players slowed things down a bit. Overall enjoyable round of golf
Not recommended for anyone
I went there to play on a Monday afternoon. Our tee time was at 12:30 pm. They packed the course with 4 somes and with very close together tee times. The pace was so slow. it was the worst that I had ever been through. We waited at every tee box and usually 2 group deep. The Ranger was doing his best to keep the groups going but it was impossible. We managed to finish the front 9 in 3 hours and 20 minutes. Yikes. We waited so long that we some times forgot where our balls were. We have up after 9 holes. A few Other groups also have up. I asked and people said that's the norm at this course. I enjoyed the course layout but will not be back there until they fix this overlooking problem. You not only lost money for not playing all the holes but also your valuable time and having to deal with the distraction and the frustration. I had my friends from out of town to play a round of golf and everyone was thoroughly disgusted. That's very disappointing for me. I don't write negative reviews but I had to warn others for this course. Thanks.
Good shape
Greens were rolling true,fairways nice to hit off.Course was enjoyable to play.
Spring Start
A cool windy spring day. The weather must have scared some people away. Hence the pace of play was very good. The course was in great condition. Green were in beautiful conditions.
This course has large greens
The greens are large.The fairways are long and at times a little narrow.A few sand traps are being worked on and some being removed.It is one of the better courses in this area.Very pleased with the course.
Nice course - poor scheduling
Course is in good shape and staff was friendly.
It was a very hot day and the course marshal even had a water jug to top off our water bottles.
Play was painfully slow due to them booking a tournament just ahead of our tee off time. After the front nine the starter let us replay the front nine and the pace was considerably better.
Very large greens in excellent shape
