Great place to play with your buddies
Weather was great, course was good and staff was very friendly. We will be back.
Great time for a great price
Always a great course! maintenance of the course is always great and the staff are very friendly.
Hidden Gem
The 27 hole course is a good enough challenge for any level of player. Well placed bunkers and water add to the challenge.
Good shape
The fairways where in great shape greens dry and fast but not soft. Played 18 holes in under 4hrs just a twosome. Beer cart girl friendly and beer nice and cold. Didn't stick around after 18 for a bite. Recommend this course
Moderately challenging course
Early Spring Game - weather was perfect. Played the Red Falcon and the White Hawk rounds - Very well maintained Golf course - will definitely play again here....
HAS A GREAT POTENTIAL PGA COURSE
EXCELLENT GOLF COURSE CAN BE RECOMMENDED FOR ALL GOLFERS N BEGINNERS.
Good value
Good value for the money, great at the end of the season for quick round.
Course is in great shape.
Aerated greens have been cut and are running smooth. Fairways are in great shape and there was evidence of recent cutting.
first time @Chippewa Creek Golf & Country Club
For a short course that it is, some of the holes were very unique. The course itself (all 3 9's) are fairly open and forgiving but there is some water that can come into play. I'd recommend this course for any level of play.
Good Course, Great Staff.
I have played the course many times. The course has some interesting holes and is fun to play. The staff has always been excellent. If you want to have a fun round on a course that has it's challenges but is not too difficult, I recommend that you give this course a try.
Gold & Red walking experience
Being Fall, there is a strong chill in the air and lots of leaves. Best to layer your clothing so you can remove a windbreaker as the sun heats, then add it back as the clouds cover and change the temp by a few degrees. There is a good mix of tree lined holes that block the wind and wide open fairways that allow you to swing away. Use a bright white, value ball because you will lose them in the strong wind or leaves. Otherwise, you will enjoy the mix of elements; colourful trees and open fairways. Greens are in nice shape too.
Course in Great Shape for the Fall Season
Course conditions were great for he fall season. Still cutting all grass and greens were rolling well.
Bad green on Red
Avoid playing the Reds, greens have been aerated and also too much leaves on the fairway makes it hard to find balls
Always love playing here!
Played White to Gold, BLUE TEEs. The course rating and slope is 70/122. Scratch or single handicappers may find this course too easy. My review is in the eyes of an intermediate player. Don't compare the course to courses that charge you double the price.
Pace of play was great as there wasn't too many people playing at that time. We finished in under 3hrs. (2some with cart) It was windy and quite cold but we had thermal gear on. Course is quite easy but still enjoyable. For the price you pay $50 with cart for this course is very fair as they do pretty good in keeping conditions good. We paid $27 on a hot deal which was a steal. Greens were really good this year. Much better than some other courses I played this year that cost double. Speeds were consistent throughout the year.
Don't compare the green speeds and conditions to a "greens are fast and rolls true" type course. Green speeds to me were decent and enjoyable. I have played this course throughout the last 10 years and have always enjoyed my round here. (except when they are busy and we are forced to pair up with hackers, but this can be any course)
We played blues on white to gold which are the longest and hardset set of the 3 nines. Course is pretty wide open so miss hits are not that punishing.
Food and facilities are rated average as I don't utilize these much. They do though have a great practice facility. A driving range, a putting green, and a chipping green that has fescue and a sand trap for warming up.
Depending on the price you get, I would rather play here then at Hidden Lake in Burlington. I have played here over 30 times but I am NOT a member. I like to call this my home course as it is one of 2 courses that I started playing golf on.
good value
Good value and good shape for this time of year good for all golfers
NICE GOLF EXPERIENCE
WEATHER WAS A LITTLE WET BUT RAIN STOPPED AFTER 4 HOLES. THE COURSE IS IN GOOD SHAPE.WOULD LIKE TO PLAY AGAIN IF THE FALL WEATHER PERMITS.
NIce course....good value
First time I played here. Thought the course was in great shape for later season. REALLY liked the greens. Good track for an intermediate player. At $42 with cart it was well worth it. Will definitely be back.
good
liked the course but we haven't played the white course latelyt
Slowwww
They had at least two tournaments running. Put us out in between them.
Not sure why they would book additional golfers when they do this because it was a 5 to 10 minute wait on each hole.
We finally gave up and were going to walk off on the second nine when we saw white was open and so played some of these holes again.
Wet day for golf
Good course for the money...Rain for 24 hours before we played ...so very wet conditions ,,, Slow groups of players
We played on the aerated greens and they were still running true and quite fast. Falling leaves at Thanksgiving - I bet some of them were red - welcome to Ontario, Canada.
