Good value for the money compared to other courses in the area
The course is in good shape considering the weather we have had. Greens are in good shape, a little slow, but better than some others in the same area. It is a great course to start the season. My only complaint was I wasn't told there was a tournament at the same time as my tee time. When we arrived we were told that we could only play the white nine twice for our 18 holes. I would expect to be told this over the phone and decide what to do from there.
Excellent
Excellent course, well worth the money & will definitely be playing again!
This course always gives us an early start to the season
Second time we played this year and always good value for a well kept course.
excellent value
Great value, friendly staff, pace of play was excellent.
i would recommend this course.
Regards
Good weather Excellent shape
course was in really good shape, although greens a bit slowish? though it was very good all around, we were 4 hrs 15 min for 18, never pushed by the twosome behind and never waited! at all.
Good early round!
The course had been aerated, so a little less roll and lies not the best. However greens were fast and good for so early in the season. Very helpful staff!
Reduced Rate Ready!
My wife and I headed to Chippewa for our first round this year and were happy to get through the course in under 4 hours. That was actually nice to do! The course is certainly in early spring mode and seems extremely dry already. The greens are very hard and compressed. Came in high and no ball marks to speak of. I have played this course several times in the past and it has been in better shape, again, I hope this is just a case of early spring blah!
Great Greens & Great Staff
The greens were in great shape and had been cut that morning even though it was cold. Pro Shop staff were knowledgeable and up front about course conditions. Home made & fresh sandwich was excellent and quick.
This course will make you think at times
I like playing this golf course. It is close to home and always in good shape and at a good price point.
no surprises
course has plenty of length, sand not in play, usually. some forced carries to large greens. greens a bit slow but in fine shape.
This course has great staff
The staff here are the best. All staff are extremely courteous, friendly and helpful. The staff made a great day even better. I readily recommend this course to all of my friends and will continue to regularly play here.
Hot deal
I booked a hot deal for a Friday around 1 o'clock. The course had a large best ball tournament tee off in front of us. Took 3 hours to play 9 holes. I will be making it a habit to call the course to make sure there isn't a tournament from now on.
easy to get to
over all a nice layout that is well cared for and a joy to play.
Nice course for beginners
Another great day at Chippewa Creek. There was a small tournament on; but it did not impact us at all.
Starter is very friendly and accommodating.
Gooc Value
Teed off at 845 am. The foursome in front let us play through after 9, although they were not affecting the rate of play. Never saw another player in front of us after that.
Course was soggy due to a massive rain storm the previous night. There was a few "puddles" but only a few of them had any impact on the courses playability.
little Gem
If your looking to improve your skills Chippewa has what your looking for, what a great course ! Greens are impeccable well groomed fairways and overall a Great lil track ! Golden Eagle is my favourite nine to play the white hawk is also a great challenge for the mid teen to low handicapper. The red falcon is the shortest of the 3 nines to play with a drivable par 4 to start the red !
Thanks golf now, my credit card has thanked you all season long !
top shape
the greens are in excellent shape as is the entire course.fast play and great weather, the perfect combination
Day off
nice layout ,three par3`s and three par 5`s on each nine. The par 5`s are reachable in two not extremely long. The course has 27 holes. The started moved us up and we played white-gold. The cart girls came around a few times to keep us refreshed.
Chippewa Creek
course was in great shape we rode, but easy to walk all around great day finished 18 in 3.5 hrs. Great value, and friendly staff, would highly recommend.
