A lot of fun
The course is very fun to play. Not very long, lots of interesting holes. The greens are the defence here. If you are above the hole, you may just put right off the green
Didn't bother to call or email our group driving in from Brantford there was a 2 hour frost delay. Pretty much ruining everyone's day. Very disappointing.
Carts too costly
I like the course, always have. However the owners; Golf North are charging an inflated rate for single rider in power cart. Therefore did not really get great deal overall. Not a reflection on Golfnow, just venting to someone. Thanks
The course is nice
Not in a good shape fairways are pretty rough
greens are good tee-off bad condition
Always in good shape
Lots of leaves but they were working on it. Did not like the sand on the greens
Worst golf experience ever.
This was by far the worst golf experience I have ever had in my life. First and last time. Went with my son for a 9-hole at 5:12pm tee time. We were delayed (2 groups in front of us) from the start. We ended playing 3 holes ... in over 1hr and 15min. At that pace, it would take us over 4 hours for a 9 and 8+ hours for 18. Ridiculous. We left after 3 and went to the clubhouse. Saw the marshall hiding in a corner and asked him if he knew what was going on. He chimes, I told you it was slow and that he would not have played. Funny how I never even saw him anywhere prior tee off. I understand that it's a nice evening and people love there golf, but wow. They book every 8 minutes. The clerk in the clubhouse claimed it takes 17 minutes on average for 1st, 20 minutes for 2nd, and 13 for 3rd. Do the math. Poor management and the arrogance of the marshall makes this golf course a no go for me. Wasto of my money.
Slow
Start time was 15 mins late. 5 1/2 hour round. Waiting on every tee box. Was told when we arrived at the parking lot entrance to make sure we keep up to pace of play. No Marshall on course to make sure that happened.
Concrete fairways and extremely slow pace
We teed off just after 3pm and it took us over 3 hours to play the front nine. It was a 5 to 15 minute wait on every hole. They rushed way to many golfers out onto the course, and its packed all the way through and extremely slow.
Many years ago when I would play Dundee they would have lush fairways, well kept bunkers, nice greens and you could play in 4 hours. Now it's guaranteed over 5 hours to play and I don't think the fairways were watered once all year, other than when it rained. I don't think I'll be visiting this course again anytime soon.
Gorgeous course, needs maintenance.
Unfortunately, like a lot of golfnorth courses, they bought a great course and ruined it with lack of maintenance. Fairways are rock hard and bald in places. Greens are too hard to take an approach shot, you have to bounce shots in from 30 yards out and trust that god is on your side with friendly bounces. Even a 56 degree wedge won’t stop on the green.
Putter needs to be working
Course in good condition. Greens are definitely the decisive feature of the course.
