Dundee Country Club

Like the Scots say” it’s missing a few head of cattle” it’s like a cow pasture. First off, showed up for my scheduled time, seen the 1st tee had 8 carts all lined up and was told in the pro shop that tee times were backed up by 40 mins( how is this possible with COVID guidelines ?), took 1 hr to play the 1st 2 holes, seen one Marshall all day and he didn’t say a word, played the round in 5 1/2 hrs. Fairways and tee boxes are burned out, they are clearly not watering the course, this seems to be consistent with all Golfnorth properties, which isn’t surprising with greedy corporations, gladly take your $ and do nothing for you in return. Do yourself a favour and spend your hard earned money elsewhere, there are so many more courses that are appreciative of your patronage that aren’t managed by Golfnorth.

It was ok for 6 holes and then the storm hit, the course closed... no rain check as it was a “HotDeal”... not pleased... $43 for 6 holes is not a good deal.

We arrived 30 minutes early and met a staff member at the highway entrance who checked his sheet and found our start time. He informed us of the C19 program. We drove to the bag drop and then parked the car in the lower lot. Returned to the pro shop and met a lady outside who was in charge of carts. She showed us which carts had been sanitized. Paid at the pro shop and visited the bathroom. Very clean facilities. Our tee time found us on the tee with another couple and off we went. Enjoyable round (9 holes only). Lovely course. Very nice day. We will return.

Longer course for the area always in great shape, staff always friendly and always a challenge. Hit me long and straight

was fully booked so it took almost 5 hrs ..... has been very hot so the fairways were fairly dry and some brown-out spots but the greens were good ...... traps had been raked recently so they were playable ( many in this area aren't ) . Normally would be a 4 but but not today when it was slow and a bit dried out .

Terrible Experience right from the second hole. By hole 3 was wishing I had never teed off. Showed up as a single golfer expecting to be paired up. Instead they had me tee off alone -as they said there was a nice gap between tee times which is fine if play allows but by hole 2 I was backed up behind 3 groups including one other single golfer in front of me and 2 twosomes infront of him! There were Marshall's on atleast two holes on the front nine who were sitting parked in a cart in the shade doing or saying nothing watching 3 groups of two or under wait at tee blocks. I was able to bump in front of a twosome of older ladies and when the single player infront of me did not agree to play together I skipped a hole to play with the twosome infront of him. What a joke! Course is in terrible condition with most fairways brown and full of weeds, clearly not watered or taken care of properly. Green fees should reflect the poor condition. When leaving I went to use the washroom and was told I couldn't enter the building without a mask when I had just checked in at pro shop before the round without one. Was then rudely told by a staff member sitting in a cart outside the pro shop to remember my mask next time and to "put one in your bag and leave it there"! All a shame as the course could be alot better if marshalls and pro shop did their job and course was taken better care of. First and last time at this place!

I golfed this course a long time ago. It’s a challenging course, but easy to walk. Thanks rates stay under $38, I’ll be back!

I liked this course but found the enore course very dry. Conditions weren't the greatest considering the price.

Pace of play was agonizingly slow - +4.5 hours. Course layout is pretty good but tees, fairways and greens should be better for $50.

Two of us golfed. My golf partner was caught in a traffic jam on the highway and arrived 1/2 hour late. The staff were very understanding and accommodating. They worked us in immediately upon his arrival. The course was well maintained, fairways excellent, greens fairly quick and consistent. Sand traps were the only negative, they definitely need work.

We had the course to ourselves and all went well. No beer till the 17th tee but still good. Was a bit disappointed that we where charged full price for carts even though we only used one seat.

Very good layout, and very well maintained for this time of year (and in covid era golf) I think tee times need to be a little further apart - 8mins is too close. Otherwise, exceptional value for money!!

Covid-19 means cart prices are inflated, $76 with cart and $8.00 for a sandwich at the turn has me a little put off but the pace of play, weather and conditions of the course were all good.

It has been a few years since my last round at Dundee, I had heard there has been a turn around with the new (now old I guess) superintendent and this did not disappoint. The greens were not fast but not slow, somewhere in between they could be faster for my taste but overall they were in good condition. Course played fair. was conditioned good and wintered well.
