Ok course if you get hotdeal
Another kw course that golf north put no money into and has turn to sh it
Course should have been closed after al l rain Saturday paid for golfing including cart had to walk not impressed by golf now has been a good value til now not sure I’ll book again
Frustration
I realize the weather hasn't been co-operative lately, but the way the fairways and first cut rough was cut was just terrible. There was no real pattern to the way things were mowed, patches here and there and if you were off the fairway by a yard you might as well kiss your ball goodby, there was no first cut rough but there were patches or paths cut randomly along the fairways at times we watched our balls hit the fairway took 1 bounce and land approx. 1ft off the fairway and couldn't find the ball, no notifications that conditions were poor.
Average
Very average course conditions and not really worth the money. There are a bunch of other courses in the KW I would rather play, however, I did like the 6 par 3's, 6 par 4's and 6 par 5 layout.
Nice old course.
Have played this course for many years. Due to cold wet spring weather the ground conditions were a bit wet in spots, grounds personnel doing their best to make course playable. We will play this course as much as possible all year. We played nine holes today.
Disappointed
Many of the tees were in poor shape lots of crab grass. Many fairways not good. Sand traps are mud. In the past this was one of the best kept courses in the area. Going downhill... disappointing. No longer worth the premium price.
Average only because that's the way stats work :-(
Unfortunately, this is yet another Golf North joint showing significant decline, wear & tear.
Given the outstanding recent weather conditions including ample rain in the past several weeks it was shocking to see the condition of this course. The greens are baked out and it sounds like your ball is landing on plywood rather than grass. On many (but not all) tees it was impossible to find a flat lie and some were covered in crab grass.
With so many great choices in SW Ontario this course would only be a good value at about $25.00. Save your $$$ and play somewhere else.
Not worth the money. Course is in terrible shape. This used to be such a nice golf course but has been ruined by Golf North. Fairways are dry, dusty, burnt and hard as a rock. Greens are beat up, inconsistent and hard as a rock. Sand traps - are gravel traps. Might as well use a putter to get out if they didn't have big lips on them. What a shame to have ruined such a great property. Wouldn't pay any more than $20 to play this course in the future.
Great day at Dundee
Really enjoyed our day at New Dundee. Course was great especially if you like a longer course. Staff were very friendly, was a great day to be golfing.
Starter
If I could recommend just one thing that would improve the playing experience, it would be the fact that EVERY TIME I play this nice course, there is MAJOR confusion with "who is golfing with who"!!!!!
Give the starter a list, and teach them how to ORGANIZE what happens at the first tee , like every other golf course in the area does. This is a bad experience.
Great people, great course, great service and amenities.
Dry dry dry
Only bad parts...no ac in golf dining area(broken), and mother nature wasn't cooperating with enough rain.
Dont blame course if Mother Nature is incorporating.
Absolutely Brutal
Wow. Every other course I have played has been in amazing condition so far this year. Even Brookfield is in 100 times better shape than this cow path. Burnt, dried out. Bunkers are garbage and hard pan, fairways like cement, greens hard as a rock and unresponsive, tee blocks sloped. The only good thing was pace of play. I got a hot deal price of 47 with cart and should be asking for a refund as it was not worth 20 bucks. Such a disappointment. Doesn't look like the sprinklers have been on at all this year. I'd play Brookfield or River Edge over this pasture any day, at least those courses are in great condition.
Totally agree!!
Good round
Good round. Slow pace due to ladies league. Need to put cart players ahead of walkers to keep pace consistent.
good round
booked a last minute hot deal due to iffy weather conditions .... very few groups out on the course so pace was great .... course in good condition and moderate difficulty .. staff were nice .... no issues and it was a good round even with some light rain here and there .
Course is in decent condition, pace is perfect
Fairways and greens are in decent condition, course is nicely designed and fun to play, hole 17 and 18 signs are missing, other than that, everything is great.
\Not worth the money
This course has gone down hill since it has been taken over by Golf North, The holes had not been moved in days and as a result the edges were beat up and dried out. The rough was twice the height of the ball, making it impossible to find your ball. The sand traps were hard and full of small stones. As a result, I felt that it was not worth the money that I paid and certainly not worth the listed club price of $ 65.00. The course needs some TLC before it can demand the price that they are asking !
What course were you playing? Do you usually play on dry, dusty, concrete?
