About
Located in a spectacular natural setting against the backdrop of the Niagara River whirlpool and gorge, this magnificent and challenging championship course was designed by the legendary golf architect Stanley Thompson. Owned and operated by The Niagara Parks Commission since 1951, Whirlpool is considered as one of the Top 100 Courses in Canada.
Directions: From Toronto: Approach Niagara Falls on the QEW. Just after crossing the St. Catharines Skyway, take the 405 exit towards the Queenston-Lewiston Bridge to the USA. Just before the bridge, take the last exit to the Niagara Parkway. Turn right off the ramp onto the Niagara Parkway. Whirlpool Golf Course is 4km down the road on the right hand side

Amazing classic
Course has a classicout that has stood the test of time. Very friendly atmosphere. Very good shape for a busy course
Wet day s as t Willodell
Only slight mist during the round but appeared they had a good downpour overnight
Few swampy areas in fairways and most bunkers had standing water
This is a nicely laid out course but some tee boxes and paths could use some attention
We typically play here at least once a year usually m a deal through GOLF NOW. Carts are a bit pricey
Fall golf at it's best
If you're looking for a scenic, fall golf challenge, look no further than the Whirlpool course at Niagara Falls. Tee boxes, fairways and greens where in excellent condition.

Try to play this course once a year
Unfortunately a rainy day. Pretty good rainfall during first five holes and looked like more coming so we quit after nine
However only a few really sooty spots n the course. Greens were good.
This is a beautiful l scenic course which is a good challenge without being too penal.
I’ll be back next year
Great Fall Golf
They need to stop watering the course. It’s in great shape, just not getting any role in the fairways. Greens are rolling nice and holding.
A Fave Stanley Thompson Track
Awesome day on an awesome track. A pleasure to play this Stanley Thompson track. A visit with the local deer community was a precious added bonus.
