Royal Niagara Golf Club - Escarpment Course
About
The Escarpment Course is one of three nine-hole courses at Royal Niagara Golf & Country Club. The course is so named for its layout, which begins at the base of the Niagara Escarpment and snakes upwards to the top of the wooded Escarpment; afterwards it goes back downhill to the clubhouse. The golf course has been built to championship standards with carefully sculpted fairways and cavernous bunkers. There are also undulating greens and water hazards coming into play throughout. The challenging round is complemented by the scenic views provided by Royal Niagara Golf & Country Club's idyllic location between the Escarpment, the Bruce Trail and the Welland Canal

What an amazing experience!
From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the staff was VERY accommodating and helpful!
The course is beautiful and walkable for seniors, too!
Their greens fee was VERY reasonable and well worth it!!
We'll be back soon, VERY soon...
Thank you, Canada🇨🇦‼️
What a wonderful time at this "hidden jewel" in NOTL!!
From the moment my wife and I arrived, the staff members, David and William, were most helpful and accommodating!
The course is beautiful and so picturesque, a true testimonial to our "Neighbors To The North's" enduring legacy to nature's beauty and it's preservation!
We will certainly be there again...soon!
Thank you, Canada🇨🇦‼️
Great Course!
We played the Old Canal and the Iron Bridge courses that day. Both were challenging but great to play! The staff were extremely friendly and provided lots of help both on the course and off. We will definitely come back to play here!
Great staff, layout awful conditions
Tee box m like rough and uneven, no difference between rough and fairways (lanenmowers broken maybe?) Greens punched a plinko board. Would have been nice to know they were punched prior to booking. Staff and Cart girl were very nice though!
Never play here, It's a grift
Golf Now charges you for unplayed rounds. If people don't show up for your round you're charged regardless. This system is built to grift golfers and I will never use it again. I lost $150 and will avoid this course in the future.
Poorly maintained
Greens were freshly aerated and top dressed. Very bumpy, sandy, and inconsistent.
Course was very very dry and hard. One 9 was closed for a staff event but no warning of that. Tee blocks very uneven and didn't look like they had been cut in almost a week.
Nice course
This is a very nice course in a great setting. lots of great holes and a couple not so great.OverallI highly recommend this course.
Nicely kept course considering the wet conditions.
Would have been nice to have gps in carts.
Pace of play was not managed
Very fun layout. You can tell they are making efforts to improve the conditioning. No one seems to repair pitch marks and the greens tend to be soft. Pace of play was brutal. The course can’t control what type of players are playing, but they can make an effort to manage them on the course
Fun course
Even with the rain and parts of the course being under water, it was still in good shape.
Royal Niagara
This course was in beautiful condition, pace of play was great and the staff were very friendly. The greens were so good and rolled very true. We would definitely go back and play.
