About
Cranberry Golf Course was carved from the picturesque landscape of southern Georgian Bay and has the distinction of being Canada’s first Audubon Society-certified golf course. There is some slight undulation in the bent grass fairways but overall the terrain is flat, making it accessible for beginners since there are no dramatic elevation changes or severely uneven lies. The front nine has numerous water hazards and plays a bit longer than the back nine due to a handful of lengthy par 5s. Cranberry Golf Course's back nine plays shorter and dryer but there are difficult doglegs and several large, strategically placed sand traps. There are also grass bunkers and contouring around the greens for added challenge.

Great day of golf staff were very nice course was in good condition overall except for a couple holes they are changing we will be back!
Disgusting
Do not play this course as there is so much goose poop on the front 9 you can’t walk the fairways without stepping in it - like a mine field of goose poop.
The condo developer has changed a number of holes so that any golf app does not work you need a range finder.
Very slow play! Forgot how terrible this course is - will never play again even tho I live less than 2 miles from the course😩😩 absolutely outrageous green fees for the quality of the course - shouldn’t even be offered by Golf Now.
Which way do we go?!?!
Lots of on course changes and rerouting. A little confusing for a first timer at the course. Staff was good at telling us about the changes but it was still confusing. Next year will be a better layout.
WHY?
played the course many time and always thought it was a good course and great value!
With the changes made to the course #3 and 8...they made what was a great par 4 into an absolute atrocity of a par 5 -:(
and got rid of nice little par 3 -150 ish yds fo the next below...
same for #8 a great challenging par 4 in a joke of a par 3 - 220 yds to a green the size of a dime with fall away all sides ...
been trying to like but NOT possible!
recommend only if you brings LOTS of balls -:) or hit the ball straight!
Golf cranberry
All but one par 3 on back nine, the greens are in great shape. Course in under construction on some holes and staff there to help advise. Still faiways and tee boxes less than ideal
Under construction
The course is under construction, after not playing not playing here for two years the new construction hurts the flow of the course and can confuse you. The course conditions were very poor for what I paid, the rates should be lowered while the course is under construction. Do not follow your gps it sent me the wrong way. Pay attention to the signs.
Try To Stay in the Fairway
Overall the course was good, but could be better. I found the revised layout to be odd, especially the new 18th hole par 3. It was nicer to finish on the par 5, which is now the 17th hole.
It was also difficult to find golf balls if you missed the fairway and were in the deep rough. They should reduce the height of the rough, especially closer to wooded areas. Some of the sand traps need repair, as a few were very hard will minimal sand.

Cranberry Golf Resort worth the play
Greens were in great condition and had some slope to challenge the golfer. Some interesting hole designs having you play smart rather than power playing. Overall course conditions were very good. This was the first time I played the course and would definitely go back. Rates were reasonable. Staff were friendly, accommodating and provided some good hole play tips. Worth the play!

Daniela, and Mark are the best! Greeted us with respect kindness and were super accommodating! The course was great. There were a couple holes under repair but the reroutes were great and we enjoyed every hole. The price was great for a weekday and the amenities are amazing. Great to see a couple water fill stations along the way on the course too. Great job Cranberry!!

Better signage and rates while under construction.
There is no way people should be paying full price for a course when1/3 of its under construction with very poor course change signage. Not worth the money right now.
