i love this course
the water holes are great nice wide fairways very well maintained keep up the great work i will keep coming back
Short course and well maintained. Great for beginners or players want to get a quick round in.
This is a short course in good conditions. Greens are slow as expected but roll well. Good for beginners, juniors or someone wants to get a quick round in. This is my third time I played there this year.
This course is in good condition with big greens.
The course was well maintained as for an executive course it ranks very high.
Slow
I understand this is an executive course and has many beginners playing, but it doesn't help that the pro shop squeezes in people in without tee times. It was very slow. I only play here because it is close to my house, but I think I will drive a little further to a course that doesn't throw groups in without tee times.
Well maintained, difficult Executive course
I've played a few Executive courses around Toronto and this is almost certainly one of the toughest. With large deep rough - that if you go into you will almost certainly have to drop a shot - either side of the fairways it punishes people who go off course.
Most of the par 3s are more than 150 yards, with some pushing 200 - pretty long by Executive course standards.
In summary: a challenging Executive course, great value for money, very well maintained.
Great Exec Course
Very well maintained, courteous staff and an overall pleasure to play. It took my party of two four hours to play, but we are not the fastest golfers, fast golfers could likely do it in 3.5 hours or less. Quite a lot of short par 3's but well thought out and still challenging. Will be back again (and again and again) I'm sure.
Excellent Executive Course! Best I've played
I was amazed by this course right as I stepped on the practice green. It was so well maintained and the putts rolled true. There were no bumps or tufts of grass missing. This was mirrored on the course as well. The fairways cut perfectly and the greens pure. Even though we've had a lot of rain the course had drained off well and it was a great experience. I was also fascinated by the amenities on the course especially water coolers and washrooms. Not something you see on courses regularly. Will definitely comeback and it is a must for someone who is learning the game like me.
Great conditions, several tricky water hazards.
Great course for $22! Not too challenging but a few holes will really test your accuracy. Excellent conditions for an executive course!
Great Executive course
Green sin great shpae. Advance Tees for the beginners provided needed distance advantage.
This course was surprisingly great.
My husband and I were very pleased to find that the course was not only well maintained but was very picturesque. The only downfall was that there was a house party at a house which was playing loud music and in tat area of town it echoed throughout the course.
Good Mid-Game Practice
Course very well keep. Executive length but challenges shot placement off the tee. Keep the driver in the bag
Good Executive Course
The course conditions appear to have improved over the last couple of years. I have always enjoyed playing the course as a way to practice with irons, as there is a good variety of par 3 lengths.
I find the course a bit pricey for the type of course, but the deal on GolfNow made it a good value.
Excellent Course.
It was a hot afternoon and not many players around but breezing wind helped quite a bit. My wife and I are over 70 years old people and it was challenging to walk all that distance. I will go back to play again and recommend to other people as well. One advantage is it is close to me compare to others courses in Burlington, Hamilton and Toronto area courses. My wife wants golf carts available some day in the future
Good value for the money
Great course for a relaxing round (par 62). Just enough challenge for average golfers. Terrain is flat. Water hazards not overly challenging. Good value for the money.
A bit more challenging than expected
The day was windy so that really added to the challenge level. It was the first time playing the course so there were a few unknowns that turned out to be "a big oops" once the ball was located. The grass is kept a little bit long at the tee blocks and often a tee was not needed on the par 3's since the ball sat up nicely on its own.
Many of the par 3's were quite long with some over 200 yards. That was a bit unexpected going in, but a nice added challenge for better golfers. Also, the very long fescue in spots caused potential ball loss if not careful (wind assisted slices or hooks turned into penalty lost ball strokes).
It was tough to read the speed of the greens and they seemed a bit inconsistent although they appeared to be the same length of grass.
I will try the course again with the hope that a little course knowledge will knock of a stroke or two.
Good value for the money
Played as a Hot Deal for $17 to walk and definitely worth the money. Thanks Golfnow! The greens and fairways are in good shape but the tee decks needed to be mowed a little more closely. It's hard to hit an iron off the tee when the grass is higher than the top of the tee. Overall, though, that is my only complaint. Great staff, nice course, great value for this course that is close to home for me.
great course offering a variety of par 3's as well as some par 4's and a few par5. Easy to walk
I enjoyed the course, greens were well maintained. The course can be challenging even though there are about a dozen par 3 holes. Great course to walk and get the necessary exercise.
Staff is friendly and accommodating and asked if i wanted to start at hole as the front six holes had a backlog.
I would recommend it to anyone who wants a quick outing
pretty good course
it's an ok course but pricey for an executive short course.specially on weekends.
Nice change of pace
This executive length course is a nice break from regular length courses and a good opportunity to work on your iron/short game.
Played it twice this year with my son (30) and my grandson(8). They encourage junior play and it is a good test for younger players. Overall a nice course and friendly staff.
