Great day
Everything that golf is all about was today . Weather golf course companion and played well what more could you ask for.
Great Weather for Golf
Everything was good about the course except that they didn't tell me why I was getting such a good deal. It's normally $75 + tax to walk, but I got it for $50. As soon as I went to the putting green I knew... the greens had been recently aerated. In Aug? Why? This is the reason for the low course rating. The other off course rating is for their driving range. They don't have it anymore, just a couple of hitting nets. I haven't played the course since before the pandemic, so it was nice to play there again.
No Marshall
There should of been a Marshall, staff could outline how long players should spend looking for balls
Great course
Great layout. The course conditions could be slightly better, but overall I’m very happy with it. It’s suitable for all skill levels, though you definitely need to know how to play—this course is more challenging than your average one.
It’s Not What It Used To Be
Have played here on and off over the last 20 years so I have seen it at different stages. It’s now at the worst. It has an aged run down feel to it now. Decaying signage and cart paths. Greens were in fine condition but also thick. Fairways are adequate.
The worst part about the day though was that there were no Marshalls. A group was just learning the game which I have no issue with but was not fully aware of etiquette of playing through. This is where Marshalls are to assist. This led to incredibly long waits. There were also fivesomes that seemed to back up a couple twosomes.
Overall was not worth the money at all and will not be returning
Won’t join or be back
Got there in time to try my new clubs on the range but I was told we weren’t allowed to use it. For members only. Had to wait for my friends so there wasn’t time to go somewhere else to hit balls. The round didn’t go well while I tried to find the feel for the new clubs. Absolute worst round in years. I’m a 6 handicap so I normally hit it pretty straight.
There are also blind shots. On one hole we played left of the mounds and ended up in a pond that wasn’t visible from the Tee. One par 3 was just goofy. Greens are flat. Roll was fine. Staff was friendly but obviously had no leeway on the range PROBLEM. They could just extra and let us use the range and it would have been a much better day. After all, how many guests can they have that it would be too much for them.
Not happy. I would never join this club because of the way I was treated in this one regard and it ruined the day.
Super beautiful Place to play
Had such a great time the staff was super chill beyond means - such a beautiful chorus to play on it feels like your in another world. So much wild life no pun intended!
Slowest round ever
Nice course but the marshals need to be more active. Took over 5 hours with a start time of 1:48. There is no reason a round should take that long to play. Had to wait on every hole.
Fairways and Bunkers
There was a few brown spots and dead grass on the Fairways, Bunkers were water logged and rough, Greens were very good
Look forward to playing there again
Sunday on the course
Great course in good condition. Fun to play. Pace was good. Walkable also. Since it is semi-private you can only book in the afternoon if you do not know a member.
Friendly staff and good selection of food.
