Belle Oaks Golf Club

This place used to be so good. But there are no greens the fairways are the rough. If you what to play cow pasture golf bring plenty of golf balls. But in realty you should not sell tee times any more.

This course has been so neglected that it should be shut down. We attempted to play 3 holes and then left to go play another course. I could go on, nut I don't want to waste my time. Quit selling tee times for for this course!!!

Course was looking though through the summer months, apparently the course went through some management changes that were over due. The course is looking up. Based on this time of year, the fairway s are ok, greens are looking like they have gotten the attention they needed and are coming back to what I’m used to seeing. The traps need some attention but have always seamd to be par for the course . The rough needs some attention but looking much better. This is a beautiful course and I will continue to play as much as possible.

Positive : The greens were in good shape except where the hogs dug it up.

Negative: Fairway wasn't cut and was knee deep.

Course has great layout. Pretty open since Ike took out good number of oak trees but still a good challenge. Drink cart on course great new addition.

The bunkers here are terrible. Most of them played like very hard dirt. Everything else was about what I expected, having played the course a few times before. There are rock-hard fairways in many spots and small, elevated greens that require the ability to put spin on your wedges if you're chipping from near the green. It's not a terrible course for the money, but as others have said the clubhouse is in bad shape, and they don't really have food beyond chips and candy bars. Just be aware of these things if you decide to play here.

Played for $10 so can't complain but coarse was pretty dried out and hard. Fairways and green were patchy. But people on the course were great about letting me play through as I was a single. Wasn't crowded. Not difficult. Fun round.

You'd enjoy the course , they need a club house baddd !!

I have played this course many times and find it always to be challenging and enjoyable.

Yes, the clubhouse looks awful and there are limited amenities but the course and the greens are great. Combine that with the low green fees it is an unbeatable value.

Most of the folks who don't like this course claim it is 'too hard' and the 'turtle back' greens require precise approach shots.

Someone who establishes their handicap here will have a 2-3 stroke advantage over someone with the same handicap who established it on an easier course :-)
