Great little 9 hole course
Excellent price and good pace...very friendly staff.
FAIRWAYS PRETTY DRY
I booked through Golf Now Hot Deal with a great rate. The greens were fast and in good condition however, a few of the fairways were very dry and hard with many bare spots. This was due to the extremely dry conditions and lack of rain for the last couple of months.
Great Course for a chance to birdie par 4 holes.
The course is doing well considering how dry it has been. The greens were in very good shape. the super has added some new bunkers that make a lot of sense.
Play a round here
Played thos course for the first time yesterday. Right from the get go the staff were awesome and friendly asked if it was our first time and gave a quick overview of the course including some of the tricky holes. Course was in great shape and the pace of play was great. There were a lot of people on the course by the time we started the back nine but werent held up not did we have anyone right behind us. Will definitely do more rounds here
Fun little course, weekends can be busy.
Fun little nine holes, not too challenging. great for beginners and junior golfers.
what should really have taken 1.5-2 hours, took 2 hours and 40 mins on the holiday Monday. Not a great pace of play during peak times.
Overbooked
Too many golfers left after 13 holes pace way to slow three groups waiting on tee box often
Forgiving course
Course has wide forgiving fairways and small greens with very little trouble from tee to green. Easy to walk as the course is flat except for hole #9, greens are in good shape except #4 which had some frost damage. Overall, a good course for the intermediate / beginner golfer.
Slow Slow Slow and not 18 holes
We got fooled looked like we were booking 18 but 9 twice
First 9 took 1 1/2 hours 2nd 9 took 3 hours.
Just not fun, the course was also a farmers field.
Just too bad it could really be a very nice track with a bit of care and structured tee off times.
Great golf with nice views!
Nice 9 hole golf course with great scenery. This was our first time playing this course and we will definitely be back.
Very Slow
Had to wait over 20 mins at a couple holes. 18 holes took 5 hours for two golfers.
SO SO course
They perceive it to be 18 but its 9 holes played 2 times,, , a lot of golfers who don't really golf well on the course so pace was very slow,, I wont golf there again
Over all great day
I have never reviewed a course before but this one I have to. Took my sister out for her first round in over 15 years so wanted an easier type course. From the amazing, friendly staff to the condition of the course it was excellent. Had a very enjoyable day!!!
O'ville home course
Great little 9 holer with plenty of challenges to get the ball in the hole. Excellent for walking, beginners and seniors. Their Tuesday night 'buck a hole' is the best deal in town for our little group of scramblers. The staff are the best at accommodating our needs and expectations.
Nice and close
We and a nice relaxing 18 hole golf game, employees were great and course was decently kept up. I golf here minimum once a week. Course is great for novice level golfers.
great 9-hole course for the average golfer
wide fairways and low-cut rough means no time wasted looking for balls or holding up play . small greens , but well maintained .
Course ok
First time played there, not bad. Course short, but fun to play. Confused by their advertising, Its 9holes, not 18holes....
Great 9 hole layout, happy to play 9 again
I would definitely play this course again, the staff was very friendly and explained the history of the course being in the Houston family and showed a pictiure of Bob Hope and Bing Crosby having played there, what a treat to hear the history.
this course has a good mix
This course has a good mix of challenging holes and some simpler holes. I like the long drives on some of the holes. The 8th hole is interesting, it's a nice par 3 where the tee is from up top of a hill. There's also a really long par 5 where I forgot I was still on this hole because it took so long to get to the green. Bunkers are in really good spots.

This course has improved over last couple of years
The only disadvantage is that there is no marshaling
and spacing between starts.
We (2)followed a foursome who could not hit a fairway
and yet they would not let us play thru.Desperate need of marshaling and the sand traps could use good raking.
The new manager is great
This Course has all you need
This course is scenic, challenging and very enjoyable to play Friendly staff and not rushed but good pace of play
Will definitely play there many more times.
