Rebel Creek Golf Club
About
Rebel Creek Golf Club was carved from a scenic landscape of rolling hills and native wetlands. This 18-hole championship layout was designed with public play in mind, making it both player friendly and entertaining. Although it is a public golf course, Rebel Creek G.C. strives to offer the experience of a private club with a full-service clubhouse and practice facilities including a putting green with practice bunker. The golf course features a good amount of challenges including strategically placed bunkers, water hazards that come into play on a few holes, and the occasional uneven lie, but it is still accessible for beginners and intermediate players.

Rebel Creek
One of my favourite courses in the area. The course can be challenging but has enough forgiveness if you're not on your game. Teed off almost 45 minutes late due to fog on the course earlier in the day. The course was busy and I personally felt something should have been done to compensate for delayed tee times. Course was in good condition aside from a few tee boxes. All in all very happy with Rebel Creek and will be back again a few times next year.
Love this course
Very forgiving off the tee. Many fairways allow for an errant shot to make a recovery.
Tough in the wind.
Had to start off of the back 9 before "Men's Night". Challenging start and finish to the front and back side. Wind in our faces playing the uphill 18th and 9th made these holes quite tough. Staff were great. Looking forward to playing again.
pristine conditions
Excellent conditions. Fast fairways. Greens rolled nice. Not fast paced, but good . Good sand traps
Nice course, however the Greens were pathetic - lots of bald spots divets and simply ripped up - tee blocks were also very poor.
The course conditions were very poor - tee blocks and greens looked like something you would find on a $25 course.
room to make errors
great views easy to see ball because of bowl shaped fairways
Great layout 18th hole a dissapointment
Excellent course. Glad I got the deal I did on Golf Now, may not have been worth it at full price.
Great design through most of the course.
On this day, some of the greens were a bit bumpy and fairways were over watered. Most fairways have generous landing areas. Many flags were placed such that if you were past the hole, it was impossible to chip or make your first putt stop anywhere near the hole. It would be extremely helpful if course information books were issued to all groups teeing off.
Not up to par
Player Rebel Creek 8-31. Arrived at the course, no one around for bag drop - not really a big deal..but they claim it's "Fresh view on golf".
Starter was friendly and told us a lot about the course. Tee'd off on time.
We played the gold tee's approx 6500)- Course itself is very wide open allowing you to spray your drives quite a bit and still be in play. Shots into the green required to be in correct quadrant of the green in order to have a decent chance of bird or par.
Lot's of dramatic looking bunkers, which were not in play 90% of the time and due to the steep slopes had been washed out and were in terrible condition.
Layout was forgettable nothing special. The greens were terrible!. Very spotty many bare spots, many with little areas of fertilizer. You could not get a true roll. I could see how they may be nice if they were well cared for. Tee decks were not to bad.
I am very glad that we paid the golf now price, if i had paid $116.00 that they show on their website I would have been upset. There are so many other courses out their at that price level or significantly cheaper (Mystic/Otter Creek) that are much better both in condition and challenge.
The course looks like it was forced into the land vs. using the land to make a golf course.
It tries hard, but in my opinion is forgettable and just is not up to par...
Good course with lots of challenges
The course was in great shape when I played it
The greens were quick and well groomed
Perfect Condition
From tee to green the course is in perfect condition and the elevation changes make it very scenic. Club selection is critical especially when you have an uphill approach. The Gold/Blue Tee selection plays 6267 yrds. The second hole is a 426 par 4 into a breeze, uphill and to kick you in the teeth it's a massive green with a false front that will roll you back 45 yards if your short. The Golf tee's play 6460 and the second hole then becomes a 451 yrd par 4. (It doesn't get any easier)This course is always in great shape and worth the hour and 15 minute drive to play it at least twice a year.
Beautiful course! Challenging but fair.
I tried RC for first time last Tuesday. Loved it so went again on Thursday. Got my first hole in one on the par 3 16th so it has now become my favourite course...EVER!! Went back again yesterday for 3rd time in one week and will most certainly return again this summer. Beautiful course, challenging but not over difficult. Fantastic conditions....definitely one I will return to over and over again...
Comparable
This course is in great shape but due to the ignorance of a certain staff member that was my first impression I will not be returning!
The course is very forgiving with wide fairways and few trees.
The course was in good condition, generally. Even though the fairways were wide, we tended to playing on the adjacent fairways and still were able to recover, most times. The greens had recently been "aerated" on the day we played, yet the greens were not slow. Pace of play was fine, maybe a bit slow. The one main flaw was there was no cart with refreshments. There was drinking water on the course.
Fantastic layout
this course is a gem. great bang for the buck. challenging course that really makes you think.
Worth a drive from Mississauga
Fairways needed maintenance.
Sand traps were disastrous - stones and no sand!
Very picturesque course - definitely a cart is needed
unless you'er in your teens or maybe your twenties
Played there before, always a great course
Got some rain but otherwise it was worth the drive to Kitchener. Greens were in good shape and were consistent from hole to hole. Great layout, great shape.
course is in good condition, unfortunately, hammered by rain the night before, therefore it was cart path only.
Enjoy playing Rebel Creek, enjoyable yet challenging course, usually in good condition. Disappointed however this time with the staff. When we checked we were not informed that we were teeing off on the 10th, we went to the 1st and there we were told that we had to go to #10, the pointed out a sign that they indicated was poor, trying to explain that the front 9 was now the back nine. We went off on the 10th with a very lovely couple, and no one in front of us for at least 2-3 holes, pace was great. Unfortunately, our playing partners were stopping after 9, which just left my husband and I. We figured when we got to aka the back 9 there would be no one in front of us for a while and we would be able to play quite quickly. When we got to the tee, hence there was a group on the green and the other holes were packed. I believe what happen was and speaking with other groups they went out on the course the traditional way and cut in and backed up the groups who went out on the reverse. There was no there to tell people to go to the 10th to start, nor there was a player assistant to be found on the course to help speed up pace of play. When we caught up to the groups after our 10th hole we waited an average of 5mins on each hole, making the remainder of our round frustrating and not enjoyable. If we were not told in the pro shop to go to 10 to start, I am sure the people who were in front of were not as well, as watching them play, they proceeded to #10 for their back nine. The course was also cart path only due to the large amount of rain it received the night before, however, saw many carts on the course with no player assistant to advise otherwise. This should not happen on a course of this level and for the price you pay. Very disappointed in the way this was handled.
This course was in great shape.
Played this course many times and it can be fairly easy if the wind is not blowing which is very rare. Tees, fairways and greens were all in great shape. Starter very friendly, Staff inside not so much. overall very enjoyable day.
Very nice course
Got a good deal $48 with cart very challenging course.Lots of tee blocks only complaint Pro shop staff not very friendly which is not a good way to start off mentioned it to the starter and he said the guy had a bad attitude .I would highly recommend this course
