Rebel Creek Golf Club
About
Rebel Creek Golf Club was carved from a scenic landscape of rolling hills and native wetlands. This 18-hole championship layout was designed with public play in mind, making it both player friendly and entertaining. Although it is a public golf course, Rebel Creek G.C. strives to offer the experience of a private club with a full-service clubhouse and practice facilities including a putting green with practice bunker. The golf course features a good amount of challenges including strategically placed bunkers, water hazards that come into play on a few holes, and the occasional uneven lie, but it is still accessible for beginners and intermediate players.

Terrific course. Beautifully maintained
Lovely course, with fairways beatifully trimmed and well watered.
Beautifiul Course... Not too difficult to play...
very good looking course
excellent staff
excellent maintenance
Interesting Par 3's and approach shots
The fairways at Rebel Creek are pretty generous and for the most part "bowled" towards the centre from the tee, which is good for the long-baller looking for a place to give it a rip. That said, there are some par 4 holes which require some thought off the tee. The approach shots are made interesting by a lot of elevation changes, possibly tricky pin positions, and strategic bunkering around the greens. Lots of variety for long and short pitches, as most greens allow for texas wedges, bump-and-runs, or full popcorn lob shots. Green speeds are consistently quick with some interesting slopes here and there. Don't trust the yardage on the par 4 17th, it's wrong. From the Titanium tees it reads 362, but there is no way it's 210 yards to the 150 stake (for the layup shot off the tee). If you want to lay up on this par 4, don't play for anything more than 175-180 yards off the Titanium tees. The best play is to take the driver and give it a whale up the left side, the carry must only be about 205-215 yards from the back tees to the left-centre of the fairway, even though it looks more like 300 yards. Some good advice for the first-timer.
More courses should have Blue/Gold Tee Combo. I love the set up.
The only reason I didn't score this course today as pristine was because of the greens and fairway divots. It's not the green's keeper's fault, it's the public. Too many un-repaired ball marks and divot's. I was fixing 3 to 4 ball marks per green, and the same amount of adding provided divot sand and seed on the fairways, not including my own.
Anytime the wind is over 10mph, the difficulty jumps out at you. You have to be aware of it every shot because what you feel at your ball is not the same 60 feet in the air.
The greens run true, but they are very fast compared to other courses in the area.
I love Rebel Creek and always look forward to playing there.
creative layout. especially the back nine
A great course which is well maintained. The back nine is definitley more interesting than the front. Having said that the front nine is very challenging as well. Booked through Golfnow it is an amazing deal!! More than worth it!!
great
Excellent course, very challenging which I enjoyed very much.
Look forward to playing the course again
Fantastic value for money !!
Very well maintained course, challenging but not over whelming if you play for the right tee. Will be one of my favourites.
Excellent and challenging course - interesting terrain, manicured fairways and difficult greens
After recent heavy rain, the course was still in great condition. If you like manicured fairways, lots of bunkers, challenging greens and rolling terrain - this course is for you. We used carts - recommended. We will definitely be returning .
Only thing lacking was a diagram of the holes either on the scorecard or at the tee as there are a few blind tee shots. Should probably have bought a course guide.
Played on the same day as their 10 year anniversary celebrations - treated to a free beer....
A relaxing round of golf
The course is in great shape & the fairways are forgiving. I enjoyed my game there, however, the lack of staff on hand was unacceptable. The only time I saw the beverage cart it was parked at the clubhouse & the halfway house was closed. We lost a half an hour at the turn just trying to get a hotdog. Unacceptable for the price this course charges.
Beautiful course that needs some maintenance.
Rebel Creek is a challenging, undulating, scenic gem of a course whose premium prices demand better grounds maintenance to unlock the wonderful experience hidden within GolfNow's value.
PROS:
-practice driving range, chipping area, and large putting green
-up to 6 tee decks for ability to challenge golfers of all handicaps
-just right frequency of visits from refreshment cart
-strategically placed water coolers and toilet facilities around the whole course
CONS:
-surprisingly small, under-stocked pro shop
-many blue tee decks needed re-sodding; turf very thin in spots
-about half of course's greens were aerated (even though it was June 24th). Wish GolfNow had posted an alert notice.
-a lot of the bunkers (especially green side) needed cultivating and additional sand; crusty tops over thin middle with hard pan bases
-clubhouse men's washroom was a mess; yes it was 6:15pm but staff had obviously ignored this duty for some time.
The clubhouse looked impressive from the outside with sophisticated yet comfortable looking decor on the inside, easily capable of hosting large tournaments or banquets. I didn't peruse the menu or sample any food or drink.
I loved the views, layout and design or this course and would definitely want to take on its challenge again. However, if you are going to demand "top tier" green fees then you have a responsibility to maintain the course and facilities so as to deliver a top tier experience.
Play was slow but course was tough and in great shape.
Great evening to play golf. The course had an event going on so the front 9 was slow but the back nine went very quickly. Just made it in time before sunset at 9:00.
Very playable for an average golfer from the blues
Excellent fairways, no bad lies and the greens are fast and true. The views from the fairways look as good as their web site. All the kidney shaped traps do look intimidating, but they are well maintained and very playable.
Always a good round of golf
Rebel creek is one of those courses that rewards you one minute and beats you to a pulp the next (18th hole). But it will force you to think and hit good shots which is not always the case with some courses.
best course in the area
love playing this course when dry weather is in exellent shape greens are good a bit fast here and there, course is worth one hr drive and will again for hot deal on golf now
This course is in excellent shape.
A friend recommended this course to me. I found the course was well maintained. The practice greens were like the greens on the course - fast. I would recommend this course to others. It has challenging holes and nice scenery.
Course good, Pro Shop staff bad
The course was in very good shape. Greens were fast and true.
It was a nice course to play. Unfortunately the Pro Shop staff made you feel like a thief for using GolfNow. I asked if we could get off earlier if there were any no shows. Pro shop guy said no especially not with GolfNow price. Starter and Marshall were very pleasant. I should have just spoke with the starter. He said we could have gone 30 mins before our time.
Good outing and not overly busy
Pro shop and starter lacking personality.
First time playing here in couple of years. Atmosphere noticeably changed.
Cart girls and bar ladies very nice and attentive.
Addition looks great.
maintained in excellent conditions.
Played Rebelcreek and have to say it is one of the top courses I have played. I definitely will be going back. It's well worth the money I spent. Keep up the good work!
Rebel Creek May 19 2013
Course is in great shape. Groups well spaced, pace of play was great. Finished in 4hrs 30 min on a Holiday weekend!!
Cart girls were right on top of things too :)
great day
for only being open a couple of weeks the course was in great shape. play there again in a heartbeat.
