Rebel Creek Golf Club

About
Rebel Creek Golf Club was carved from a scenic landscape of rolling hills and native wetlands. This 18-hole championship layout was designed with public play in mind, making it both player friendly and entertaining. Although it is a public golf course, Rebel Creek G.C. strives to offer the experience of a private club with a full-service clubhouse and practice facilities including a putting green with practice bunker. The golf course features a good amount of challenges including strategically placed bunkers, water hazards that come into play on a few holes, and the occasional uneven lie, but it is still accessible for beginners and intermediate players.

A conundrum
The fairways were great, though the tees and greens were not cared for. I'm afraid that since Golf North took over, like others they have, things are not like they used to be. It was a great day, though somewhat disappointing in the care of a great course.
Best Public Course in KW
Great track with a ton of extra amenities. Played it after lots of rain, course still drained nicely. Helpful staff.
Very nice
The back 9 has some wonky holes and the greens have taken a beating but it's well worth playing I just found it pricey overall for what you get.
Surprisingly fast greens
Haven’t played here in a few years. I was delightfully surprised that the greens have sped up considerably and they rolled very nicely. Course was in good shape. I was shocked GolfNorth is actually doing a decent job for once.
You can go low at Rebel. I recommend.
Not social distancing
Pairing you up like a normal day without COVID 19. With random people you have never met. People were right behind us shooting at us before we even got out of the way trying to rush us. They do not distance tee times at all and it’s not enjoyable at all. Golf north are nothing but money hungry morons. Rebel creek was an awesome course before they bought it. Now it’s gone down hill. Golf north sucks! Don’t get me started on Beaverdale and Brookfield no social distancing all. You want to stay within your bubble. Forget it they don’t obey the law or respect requests. All I want during covid is to go as a twosome with the person I know doesn’t have covid. I will not play golf north again nor should you! Stop this virus and let golf north know they are in the wrong!
Early morning round in the heat
What a gem! From the time you pull into the property till the time you leave, one can see why this course is loved. From the large putting green, chipping area n driving range , to the clubhouse and course. Before you even step foot on the first tee we were excited.
The course is very long and fairways are very forgiving actually. Bunkers are strategically located throughout the course, so be aware. While they have taken some bunkers out, there are plenty that still cause trouble.
The greens were fast and are the most difficult we have played this season. Multi tier greens are common throughout the course. The fairways are gorgeous to walk on. While some do need some repairs from divot marks that haven't been repaired, they are mostly in great condition.
Pace of play was disappointing. Apparently there was a non sanctioned tournament going on and the players were rude, slow an had sense of entitlement to the course, thinking that everyone else has to work around them. Stopping at clubhouse for 20 min for drinks and food, should not equal to holding your place on tee boxes. This group was rude and obnoxious at the patio and worse when returning to the course.
While we thoroughly enjoyed the round and the challenging holes, as first time visitors it was wonderful to have an old employee in our group. Was like a guided tour through the entire course.
Just a suggestion here but 2 only see the beverage cart 1x in 18 holes in such heat is something to be improved on. ĺWe brought our own water.but with this heat we went throughv2 litres of water each and were still thirsty. Maybe have 1 cart for each nine.
Was a great experience that would like to repeat, without the heat and entitled tournament players.
Will try to get back before end of season
Really nice track! Tough Greens! Long walk!
First time playing this course and had a ton of fun. Forgiving fairways and unforgiving greens make for a really fun round. Some good course management needed on a few holes where layup is often the best option. Got a great hot deal through Golfnow so only paid $35 to walk which I would py everyday for this course. It's a long walk and I was toast after the long uphill 18th so wouldn't recommend for anyone who doesn't usually walk. Pace of play really slowed down on the back 9. 1 hour 45 on the front 2.5 on the back. All in all a great course and if you can get it under the regular $60 it's a steal.
rained out and no rain check!
The rain cancellation policy is terrible. I only managed to play 8 holes before the rain strom. I was informed that I would get a refund or rain check from Golfnow but none was given. A warning to people that use Golfnow to book a tee time.
Very slow
insanely slow. Almost every tee block we hit had 8 people waiting. People were just walking off the course after waiting so long.
