Great layout great pace of play
Only bad part to day was greens were sanded. Golfnow needs to have this as an alert on the booking page.
Good course, very busy.
Wanted to try this course and seeing it was on a decent hot deal was a great opportunity. However I would recommend getting an early tee time. It is very busy later in the day. A 3-some asked to go ahead of us when we started the back 9 because it was so busy on the front. The conditions were good. Good greens. Good value for $.
A Real Gem of a course
Course is in great shape. The Greens are really fast and run true. This has become my favorite course and well worth the drive from Ajax.
Really Nice Course
The condition of the course was amazing. Layout was nice and straight forward. Cart girl seen multiple times and super friendly. One thing I enjoyed about the course were the shorter 480-510y par 5's. If you can hit a good drive and your irons pure, you should have 2-3 decent eagle opportunities.
Well Worth the Drive
I live in Ajax and have many courses which are a lot closer. However, I find this course to be challenging. The pace of play to be enjoyable and the greens are in very good condition.

This course is in excellent shape to say it has been so dry. Love playing here!

The course was in great shape. The green had be aerated how ever ran true and were quite quick.
Challenging and rewarding ( Watch out for Locals)
The course as always is challenging and rewarding. If you put it in the fairway, you will be rewarded with opportunities to score. With the foliage now grown in, and errant tee shot will give you trouble to get it to the green in reg. The greens are in great shape and rather larger. But don't let that fool you. Staff is great, and couple of tips. Cash only at the snack bar. So bring cash or use their ATM. Also lots of local that tend to run to different holes if you are not going to their pace. Very pushy. Just let them by and you will be okay. Besides that come out to Port Hope for a good round.

It is in great shape and a joy to play. Will definitely return!
Great variety of holes
It had been a few years since we had played Ash Brook and we were happy to find it just as enjoyable as previously. There is a good mix of challenging holes and then there are fairways that are quite wide, so more forgiving. We would all definitely return.
Beautiful condition
The course was beautiful! The greens and fairways were in perfect condition. Will return really soon.
Zero pace of play
The course was in good shape, no issues there......But, they have no clue when it comes to pace of play. They don’t have a starter, so people just T it up when they “think it’s good”. Got to the 11th T, 3 hrs after T-time, and found 12 guys on the T box. Brutal
rude staff
ive played it 10 times this year. course is usually just ok. when the owner knows its golf now they treat you very rude
Avoid this course
Despite us showing up 35 minutes early they would not let us go off because we booked through this site and they said we had to wait for our tee off time . Well nobody teed off but two members who had already played the back nine and were now teeing off in front of us 3 minutes before our scheduled time. Well we played the front nine and obviously there was no one in front of us and when we get to the back nine in is jammed with people they had been putting out the back nine because they were going to have a tournament starting on the front. We confirmed with both groups waiting that the front desk told them to go out The same person at the front desk that would not let us start early again confirming that it was because we booked through this site said these people where lying that he only sent out one threesome. Can't really figure how they all got power carts. They only care about money not your golf experience We will never go gack
First time playing here, Good golf experience, easy to walk
Arrived early, greeted by friendly owner who said we could go out earlier than our t-time. Fairways thick and well maintained as was the rest of the course. Beautiful environmental area around stream, and fescue was cut back, maybe since it was fall. Easy to walk and push cart, only one hole offered a hill on the front nine. Course played fair, and the lack of drama created by elevated greens, tight winding fairways, and hazards on every hole made it user friendly for me, a first timer at this facility. Still, it was challenging and required accuracy off the tee to avoid problems. The two bunkers I encountered were more like waste areas, and the sand was very hard. Easy to get out!
