Not the greatest of deals
I enjoy playing Ashbrook in Port Hope however it isnt worth it as it is $60 (primetime walkung rate). Course conditions not the greatest but if it was say $35 walkung or $50 cart incl. then that d be more realistic. Golf too expensive A friend wanted to check out the course and we could only go Sat daytime. After playing he says he will never go back. "Had we gone at twiliight and got say a $35 rate maybe, but for $10 more can go to a course in mint condituon."
Fun Day
The staff were super friendly and organized. I like the layout of the course also. Fast smoth greens with nice carracter! Will be back for sure.
Great layout - average conditions
We love this course for the layout and level of difficulty. Unfortunately, the course conditions (both fairways & greens) are only average overall. Greens are better but fairways are poor.
Course conditions good
Walked front nine holes, which we wouldn't do again. Course is very wide open, lots of dead trees. The course is too long and wide to walk and very long distance between holes. Will golf the back nine next time, heard it's nicer.
Good value
A well run operation. We slowed down on the second nine and the Marshall intervened putting us through a slow group. We then moved ahead and thoroughly enjoyed our round.
