Always a good challenge
Some challenging holes
Course well kept
Worth playing over and over
New owners are doing a lot of great upgrades to the coarse and clubhouse
Course in great condition but pace of play poor.
We enjoyed our game but waited to tee-off on all 18 holes. It took us 4 hours & 45 minutes to complete 18 holes. Not good.
Great layout - fairways have long grass.
Course is nice. Enjoyed the layout. Only negative is that the fairways, other than the 18th fairways, have grass nearly as long as the rough.
Disappointing
After playing several other local courses, our foursome decided to play Ashbrook on Monday. The fairway grass was so long (#13 especially) that I couldn’t find my ball in the centre of the fairway. The rough was worse making for extremely slow play looking for our balls. The greens were okay but showed signs of mold; invasive weeds and some areas needing repair. Overall, we were very disappointed with the condition of the course compared to what it has been in the past and other courses for similar value in the area.
Better than working
Course is improving tremendously. Lots of money and effort going into solving some of the weaknesses.
Great course
The course ownership truly has been making leaps and bounds toward excellence. The course is excellent and staff are super friendly. Only thing missing is some range upgrades and a beverage cart then this course will be a true contender with bigger more prestigious courses.
Good course. Still wet in places but improvement is coming daily.
