North Granite Ridge Golf Club
About
North Granite Ridge Golf Club spans 320 acres of beautiful woodlands in the heart of Muskoka. The layout plays through large boulders and towering trees across dramatic elevation changes provided by granite ridges, hence the name. The greens are undulating and the fairways are quite narrow, demanding both accuracy and skillful course management. It is home to the longest par 5 in Muskoka at 622 yards from the back tees. The challenges of the golf course are complemented by panoramic views that stretch deep into the forest, providing some scenic respite. Opened in 1999, North Granite Ridge Golf Club is fairly new but it has quickly become one of the area's must-play golf courses.

Classic beautiful Muskoka scenery
From the time i arrived. I experienced nothing but first class and friendly service from the staff. I went there alone and was partnered with 3 other golfers. It was nothing but positive playing with these guys. Two were very good golfers and all of us agreed that this is a beautiful course was very challenging and very scenic we actually had to stop and look at two deer strolling by. There was even a clock on one of the holes indicating where you should be at when you first teed of we were right on time great feature. If you ever plan on golfing up here north granite ridge golf club is a must to play
The couse very picturesque
The placement of the holes are very interestingly placed. The fairways are forgiving. With walls of granite landscaping. making the whole course very photogenic. It is a fun place to play on.
Picturesque Muskoka Golf Course
North Granite Ridge is a picturesque golf course. It is somewhat difficult. We had a great time. The pace of play was slow.
We had an issue with the fellow at the pro shop when we arrive to pay our green fees. I had arranged the round for my friend and I through Golfnow. Unfortunately The course did not have two tee spots available even though they had posted them on Golfnow. The fellow in the pro shop gave us a had time and was quite rude. We finally were allowed to tee off. Every one else at the course was polite and nice to deal with. I would recommend playing this course and hope the guy in the pro shop has a better day next time we go there.
Hidden gem and greta bang for buck!
i have been playing this course for a couple summer now and it never disappoints!! The clubhouse and the staff are wonderful. The course itself is top notch. Not a wet apot on the course. The sand in the bunkers was beautiful. The greens were firm and fast, yet rolled true. The price is more than reasonable ( I booked on golfnow and got an afternoon rate under $50). Wont find any better value in the Muskoka region.
Great Day of Golf
North Granite Ridge was perfect for a holiday Monday round of golf. We had two men and two women playing and conditions were great for all. Course conditions were perfect.
very slow play
5hrs 10mins with carts. Marshall did not give us a chance to play through the average golfers in front.
North Granite is beautiful
Great course to play. The holes are carved beautifully into the landscape and provides enough of a challenge for the average player.
Highly recommend it.
Love this course
We returned to North Granite Ridge for the second season because we love this course. We plan to make it an annual trip.
Hidden Gem
A well manicured course very some very pretty holes.
Gem in Muskoka
This course is beautiful and challenging.
Rock out crops, and elevation changes are a nice addition to a round of golf through this majestic landscape.
Great shape
Played today. Perfect weather, although a little buggy. Course is in amazing shape. Bunkers still need some work, but the course is in really good shape. It only gets better as seaon progresses especially. Try and play early in day during the summer months. Can get busy. Must play course.
Worth playing
Course was good, nice tall pines throughout. Grass was not that thick in areas but again worth the drive. Love the muskoka chairs on 18.
North Granite Ridge after the rains
The Granite Ridge was in great shape considering all of the rain in April and May. Greens were firm and challenging,
A Great Golf Course
Muskoka has many picturesque and challenging golf courses but North Granite Ridge combines everything into one, great beauty, great challenge and great value.
Great day at North Granite Ridge
Had a wonderful day golfing with friends yesterday. Course was in excellent shape for time of year & amount of rain we have had.
incredibly scenic
Beautiful course, well maintained and very friendly staff. Didn't try the dining areas but have no doubt they too are of high standard
One of my favourite courses!
Challenging course with beautiful views owing to frequent elevation changes. I play this well maintained course often and find the greens consistent from hole to hole and reasonably quick during the summer months. Hit it straight if you want to score well on this Muskoka jewel!
The clubhouse is very nice although the drinks are a little pricey and the hours of operation erratic at times.
